Butterfly Flower from Bath and Body Works

Andrea Rowe
Ah Valentine's Day, it is one of the few times of the year I can count on a trip to Bath and Body Works. We live in a very small town that does not have a mall. Our Bath and Body Works is located in Jonesboro so my trips to the store are limited.

This Valentine's Day many new fragrances were available. Spring time flowery scents are my favorite and there were several new choices. P.S. I Love You Spring Fling, Sweet Pea, Moonlight Path, and Orange Sapphire are their newest fragrances. My plan was to visit, buy the Japanese Cherry Blossom combinations I always buy and leave the store. I was caught by a scent I had never seen before-Butterfly Flower.

Butterfly Flower smells amazing in the bottle so I assumed it would smell amazing on me. It is a light scent, very reminiscent of Spring flowers. With weather being so well, wintery lately, I was excited to find something that reminded me Spring is around the corner. Bath and Body Works lists the notes as: black tea, tangerine, cyclamen (a flower), banana leaf, orchid, Asian syringa flower, French mimosa, creamy coconut milk, and musk. There is an odd note of honeysuckle in this fragrance although it is not listed. I love the scent of honeysuckle and considered purchasing that collection instead of the Butterfly Flower one but Butterfly Flower was a new fragrance to me. I love new things. With a free bottle of body lotion after purchasing the other three items, I was sold on buying Butterfly Flower.

I have used the collection several times and the scent seems to remain in the bottle. I have hope that it will linger for a longer period of time when the weather becomes warmer but have some doubts as it is a very light fragrance. At least we were given a pamphlet with a lot of good coupons so I can send my husband to buy my old reliable Japanese Cherry Blossom at a reduced cost. There is a $10 off coupon that is valid during a time near my 33rd birthday this Summer. I guess I know where he will be going in a couple of months.
