"On a recent trip to the Big Island, we stayed at the Butterfly Inn and we couldn't have felt more comfortable," says Eva of Todd, NC. "The proprietors, Patti and Kay, provided us with all the extras."
She says the inn is a great place with good energy, full of the Aloha spirit.

In unrelated travel news, if you ever find yourself riding the ferry across the St. Johns River in Florida, you will meet part-matador/traffic cop and all entertainer, B.J. Hart who gets people across with a smile, often making people laugh.(http://www.jacksonville.com/lifestyles/2009-01-05/a_happy_ferry_tale_from_start_to_finish).
"B.J. Hart, who also goes by Billy Joe or just plain Bill, is 55," says writer Matt Soergel. "He makes eye contact with every driver."
Hart has been a deckhand on the St. Johns River Ferry for ten years and he's been on fire every day he's worked, according to the article.
In other travel news, flood protection for Fargo, ND has progressed after the North Dakota State Water Commission allocated funding for the project, following lawmakers' lead, as stated by inforum.com.
"Fargo has come through yet another flood," stated resident Larry Adams. "The Red River was down to 37' in April which the city seemed comfortable with to bring the city back to normal. Businesses opened at noon April 8 though schools remained closed for that week."
A second crest was expected following that period, although Adams said it was not anticipated to be near the 41' level of the week before, "though they won't know the impact of the last two blizzards which dumped over 21'' of snow between the two."
"The city was prepared to go back on high alert if it became necessary," he reported. "Now if I can find a full-time job I myself will be back to normal."
Greer Farm in east Texas offers cooking classes and Bed and Breakfast cabins in Dangerfield.
"Eva Greer didn't grow up in the company of a marvelous cook," writes Mariana Greene. "Several cabins are available for rent on Greer Farm, for those who want to make a weekend of their cooking classes."
Greene wrote that the atmosphere is easygoing. You can pick up a wooden spoon and stir the roux or perch on a stool at a distance if you're shy.
