Bux.To - the Bottom Line of All Mixed Reviews and Speculations

Scam or Not? Read This Article Then You Decide

The reason why I've decided to post this entry is to perhaps enlighten those of you seeking for an honest review and opinion about bux.to without any hidden agenda by the author whatsoever.

Bux.to is one of the longest standing PTC (Pay-to-click) sites on the internet. You would have run into this site at one point or another if you are an active PTC member on any network. If you are the cautious type, you would have looked into the site or have conducted due diligence.

When you try to find info on Bux.to, you'll notice that there is such a large number of mixed reviews out there. Some people absolutely love the site, while others would curse by the mere mention of it, saying that they haven't been paid for a year or more.

Here's what I think.

I joined the bux.to site about a couple of months ago. I bought the referral pack and upgraded my membership in spite of what I had read about them. My thought was, well, you never know until you try. This is because of the sea of mixed reviews and feedback. I thought, there must be some truth to this money making opportunity so why not give it a go.

The upgrade took about 3 days to reflect in my account. The referrals, however, were only delivered to me in about 10 days. Their TOS indicated a maximum of 5 days only. They had issues and I did submit a ticket about it only to get a delayed response as well. They are painfully slow in responding and this could be due to the lack of staff available since apparently there are a ton of issues with their site, not limited to payments being delayed.

I am currently earning about 30 bucks a day. My worst days I get about 15USD. The thing that tempts people to join is the high payouts and the fact that bux.to has tons of ads available daily. A standard member has a guaranteed 10 ads per day but they're normally 14 ads up. That means, a standard member can earn as much as 14 cents up daily. If you have referrals, as a standard member you get 1 cent per referral click, while upgraded members get 0.0125 cents per referral click. Not bad, considering that the daily ad count is high.

Now, on to the payment issues. You are bound to find information about delayed payments when you try and find info on bux.to. Many members have had their payments delayed for a year or more. Some of the lucky ones get paid as soon as a month or less. Why is this so?

The ad packages on bux.to is cheap and it's strange that they are able to sustain their business by offering the advertising packs at low prices. For example:
1000 clicks to your site/ advertisement is priced at $19.10. That's 0.0191 cents per click.
That doesn't quite add up. If you do the math, I'm a premium member who earns 0.0125 per click. Then if my referrals click the same ad, I get 0.0125 from their click. My referral gets paid 0.01 cent to 0.0125 cents a click depending on his/her membership status.

So, all in all, the cost PER CLICK to bux.to for every advertisement ranges from 0.03 cents a click to 0.0375 cents a click. See what I mean?

How are they selling these advertising packages at such low prices?

My thought is this. Their main source of revenue comes with upgraded memberships and when you purchase referral packs. They come in denominations of 15, 35, 100, 150 and 500 members. However, you are only allowed to get replacements for inactive referrals when you buy the 150 and 500 member pack.

Although the site says you earn a great amount for each package, in reality, you don't. This is because some members you will get will be inactive. The ratio of active members vs. inactive members varies. For example, when I bought my 500 referral pack, 270 of those were INACTIVE. I was only able to replace them 2 weeks later. Still, the figure of the inactive members were at around 100+ by the time I had them replace.

If you bought smaller packs where you don't get to replace your members, you can have an inactive referral list of probably half or more. This is how bux.to generates their income.

They get money through these upgrades. They should know if a member is active or not because they have the system to check it. In spite of this, they still sell you half inactive members. Then, having spent a sum on upgrading, you will naturally want to recover your investment so you'll keep clicking and clicking til you get it.

Bux.to claims that it has had problems with DDOS attacks and hackers but do you really think it takes a year to audit all of it? Personally, I don't think so because technology is sophisticated - if and only IF you are willing to spend for it. Clearly, bux.to isn't willing to spend for it. Why? Because you look at their script/ website. Their PTC business has a cheap script (HTML code, website code, etc.) that can be bought online for about 10 USD. Their script is the same as 10bux.net and some other PTC sites as well.

Bux.to always claims that it pays its honest members. They like to use that word a lot; "honest" but the question the should really ask themselves is whether or not they are honest.

Another thing that I found quite disturbing was that the admin is rude. The support staff is rude and defensive even if they are the ones who did not deliver the services that members have rendered. If you go on the forums and post any content that is against bux.to, they will have you removed and suspend your account. Go figure.

Overall, for a clicker, this site is still "okay" if you're willing to wait for a while to get your money back. The returns are huge, yes, but it takes time to get paid. This all depends on whether or not you think it's worth the wait.

From an advertiser's point of view, I would say, however, that bux.to is a great site to advertise your website or to get clicks for traffic to your site. It's cheap and the alexa ranking of bux.to is high which means that it generates lots of traffic.

If you still would like to join after all the info I have given on bux.to, you can click on any of the hyperlinks above or you can click here. In a month I have been able to earn over 600USD with this program on my clicks and my referral clicks. Today, I am also using them for advertising/ clicks to my other products/ websites that I promote on the net to drive traffic into it.

I don't think they are a scam. They take time to pay but that doesn't qualify as a scam in my book and plus, I don't mind the time it takes to pay because in one month, I've already recovered my initial investment to buy my upgrades.

This site isn't for everybody, especially if you're out to make a quick buck. Realistically, there is no sure fire fast way or get rich quick schemes that really work.

In ending this, if you decide to join, great, but let me say that there are many other programs out there that you should participate in as well so as to not put all your eggs into one basket.

Best wishes to all and thank you for reading my article.
