Even during these rough economic times, people still don't want to support their country, this is why I have started to wonder how many Americans we still have in this country, it used to be that if the country needed help, we would all do what we can to help.
Things are changing, the quality is way up these days, I never thought that it went down, I always attributed this to import propaganda and how gullible Americans can be about some things, the proof has never been concussive on this issue, but people still bought in to it.
With all of the great warranty plans that they have, the American automakers have really stepped up to the plate to help you buy their cars, no excuses they will cover almost anything that might happen to your car, or truck the importers don't do that do they.
It's not because they build a better car that they won't back them up like the American automakers do, just think about it, they back their cars this way because they believe in them, they don't think that a lot of cars will be coming in on warranty, it's called confidence.
They have spent a lot of time with the styling, and design of the new cars to make them more appealing to the people buying them, no longer is it a dull drab bunch of cars that all look a like, no longer is it a sea of sameness in the auto world.
The engines now days have gotten much better then the old days, this is a lot due to the state of the art CNC machining processes that we have these days, tolerances are much closer these days, making engines last longer then before.
The new computer, and automotive electronics design these days makes it possible to generate more power while still getting great gas mileage, my 2009 Dodge truck gets twenty one MPG on the high way, while making 390 HP as rated from the factory.
It's a buyers market, you can make great deals if you buy am American car, the dealers will do what it takes to sell the cars, including rebates, low interest rates, and awesome warranty plans, if you in the market it's time to think American, buy American, be American.
If all the above reasons aren't enough, maybe the fact that it will help your country is a good enough reason to give the American automakers a chance, give Ford, Chrysler, or Chevrolet a chance before you go the the non-American car store.
