Buyer's Remorse and Not Unwarranted Racist Attacks Against Barack Obama and His Agenda is Becoming More Evident

When Barack Hussein Obama was elected most Americans including me had very high hopes that the country would be more united. Nothing really could be further than the true. There seems to be more of a divide among whites and blacks since before he took office and there is much more partisanship than before. He adamantly said he would lead bipartisan. That has not been the case and his passage of Obamacare over the will of the American people and challenge of the Arizona law to protect our nation against illegal invaders are prime examples of this.

Approval ratings for the Obama have been dropping steadily. In fairness it should be noted that many people, especially those wanting something for nothing, really put too much hype on him. That was the problem and he embraced that during the campaign. Now it is biting him in the rear. It really seems things will only get worse. One of the biggest things is that some people actually consider passing of healthcare a win. I would call it a pyrrhic win at best since it was done against the will of the American people.

As of July 31, 2010 only 44% of the voters approve of the job that Obama is doing while 55% of the likely voters disapprove. It should be noted that blacks still support Obama at over a 90% rate. He has dropped significantly with other groups like Hispanics (unfortunately not because of a love of the USA but because he wont grant amnesty) and he has really taken a hit among white voters. Many don't know Obama received a larger share of the white vote than President Bill Clinton, Al Gore, and John Kerry. I think it's fair to say it's not all racism that people are getting tired of him. It does seem a messed up sense of loyalty despite what is good for the country keeps blacks loyal to him. A majority of 55% disapprove of the job he is doing. This includes 45% who strongly disapprove while only 25% strongly approve. It does not take a Phi Beta Kappa at Harvard to see that there is a huge gap in those who approve and who strongly approve meaning that within people who approve there is a wide spectrum of how much, but those who don't like him really don't like him.

The Justice Department at the urging of Obama challenging the Arizona law really has not helped him. Americans reject the challenge by 56% and it's almost 70% in Arizona. We had not had issues like this since The War Between the States. Fifty six percent of voters also would like similar laws passed in their state. A majority also do not trust the government to handle illegal immigration and trust states more. The treating of illegal criminals in our country with kid gloves is hurting the administration. There is an argument that it will alienate Latinos because they are the "fastest growing minority". This is true, but part of that is because they breed like animals without regard for who is paying the bill (only directly at illegal invaders and anchor babies) and illegal immigration in general. People forget that. It's almost like an illegal act will change the voter base of the country. Then again when have the democrats had issues with laws (see corruption in politics and you will see much more democrats especially when the mafia is involved not that republicans are saints. Far from it). On the same topic 54% believe the government should take action against "Sanctuary cities" who thumb their nose at the federal law the may the justice department claimed Arizona did. Obama does nothing because the sanctuary cities don't anger Latino and liberal voters. Support for building a fence along the border with Mexico is 68% and most Americans believe illegal immigration can be solved without amnesty. I wish they would ask how many people think the border agents should get shoot to kill orders or we put a mine field along the border and alligators and piranha in the Rio Grande.

Since the illegal immigration debate has came center stage Obama can breathe a sigh of relief in that people are not as focused on the gangster politics that landed us Obamacare, but a majority of likely voters in 58% still favor repeal and do not approve of it. Most voters do not think it is likely though but will be weakened and that repeal would be good for the economy.

It should come as no surprise that Republicans are holding a 10 point lead over democrats in congressional polling. There are also five senate seats that are considered toss ups with the likelihood of more republican victories and the republicans almost guaranteed of at least 45 seats in the Senate. I don't think republicans will retake the Senate, but I think senators will start listening to will of American people unlike the deaf ear they turned over Obamacare. It is worth noting that support for the Arizona law, objection to Obamacare, and disapproval of Obama are quite high in many states. I am very surprised that Harry Reid has taken a two point lead over Sharon angle in their latest poll despite the fact Nevada has gotten more anti-Obama than it was on Election Day. It would make no sense to vote for Harry Reid if you don't like Obama policies why you would vote for Harry Reid. He was worse than Obama in going against the will of the American people over Obamcare and amnesty. If you want our country to go to that hot place in a hand basket then vote for Harry Reid. A vote for Reid or any Senate Democrat and most House Democrats is a vote for Obama and a vote against America. Kentucky is also surprisingly close as much as they don't like Obama. West Virginia really does not like him and yet will probably send another blank check democrat to the Senate for Obama to do his bidding. Many governor races are also leaning Republican. I think it is safe to say America is sick of Obama. That is unless you are someone who wants something for nothing or some crazy elite. They tend to support Obama.

America is also really not liking too much government intrusion into their lives in addition to Obama's healthcare polices and kid gloves on illegal immigration. Scott Rasmussen says Seventy-five percent (75%) prefer free markets over a government managed economy". In his new book, Scott Rasmussen says, "The gap between Americans who want to govern themselves and politicians who want to rule over them may be as big today as the gap between the colonies and England during the 18th century."

The racial divide also has gotten worse. Shirley Sherrod was fired by the administration without the benefit of the doubt or even knowing the facts. If Obama did not clearly have policies that are anti-white he would not have had to make such a move so quick. He also has desperately attempted to hold onto power and has begged key base people to come out. He says we need "blacks, Latinos, and young people". Its fine to appeal to your base, but if a republican came out and said "we need white people to act white' he would be labeled a racist. Or if someone said if you believe in working earning and getting your should vote republican. Obama's appeal is really saying if you are a loser, want our country overrun with criminal invaders to our country, or think public benefits should be handed out like candy then vote democrat. The man deficit has been confirmed to be higher than either Bush, Clinton, or Reagan with the estimates for next year. This sucks. Then again considering a majority of the people who live and eat of f the dime of the taxpayer are used to spending other people's money in the term of the American tax payer. Pat Buchanan probably said it best of the racial divide in explaining the three stooges ( Obama, Pelosi, and Reid) approach to Healthcare. "So what have Obama and Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi been doing for a year? Crafting a federal takeover of health care with a vast plan that provides coverage for the uninsured -- most of whom are minorities -- while sticking it to Medicare recipients, 80 percent to 90 percent of whom are white........ Immigrants are 21 percent of the uninsured, but only 7 percent of the population. This means white folks on Medicare or headed there will see benefits curtailed, while new arrivals from the Third World, whence almost all immigrants come, get taxpayer-subsidized health insurance. Any wonder why all those Tea Party and town-hall protests seem to be made up of angry white folks?" if only the average democrat was that intelligent.

I say a political sign online once that had a headstone. It said "United States of America July 4^th 1776 until November 4^th 2008. Cause of death. Suicide. Sadly it seems to be right and racism is polarizing the left to not see the obvious and the right to be giving to extremism instead of defending our country.
