Buying Back Your Health

The sale of body parts has become a multi-billion dollar industry. Many people who were on the verge of death have been saved by a transplanted kidney. But there are those that are against it because many of the donors are poor and desperate people. It is almost impossible to find a young and healthy person with a job that would voluntarily give up any part of their body.

Ivan is a middle aged man who lives in central Russia. He is a construction worker who loves his work, but his pay is barely enough to supports a family of four. His oldest daughter is extremely intelligent and often begs her father to send her to college so she can learn to be a doctor. But due to the high costs of a medical education, this is not affordable. Ivan loves his daughter very much, and would do almost anything to send her to medical school. He even tried working at a second job, but there still wasn't enough money.

While Ivan was reading the newspaper he came across an ad offering a large sum of money for a kidney donor. He answered the ad, and latter had a meeting with a doctor and lawyer. After a thorough medical examination, they were prepared to give Ivan 10,000 American dollars, but it would have to be for a kidney plus the cornea of one eye. Ivan thought of the pleasure he would have if he could have a doctor in the family, and he agreed, the operation was done soon afterwards. Ivan was left blind in his left eye, but he felt he had made the right decision. Working at his job would now be more difficult, but he could still do good work.

Ivan's daughter was given a partial scholarship at a major medical college in Moscow, and the rest of the cost was paid for by the money Ivan gave her. Five years later she graduated with full honors as a cancer specialist. Today she has a private practice in New York City where she has saved the lives of many of her cancer patients. She never forgot what her father did for her, and paid the costs of her whole family coming to America.
Ivan is still a proud man, and often looks at the scar in the mirror to remind him of his noble sacrifice.

A person that sells a part of their body has received a bad image. It is looked upon as a desperate way of making money; and many people think it should be outlawed. But a body part might be all a person has to offer in exchange for the money so desperately needed. Unless there is an alternative to the person that badly needs money, outsiders should remain silent. There might come a time when money is badly needed by them, and the opportunity to sell a piece of their body would be a blessing.

It is immoral to become a human organs broker. Making money in that way is extremely evil. The exchange of body parts should be done on a more personal level. The donor and the one that is receiving the organ should meet and negotiate the sale. There would be no deal made without a fair agreement. This would eliminate any accusations of victimization or exploitation. The middle man would be eliminated in the process and predators who earn their living selling body parts would be out of work. A non-profit matchmaking service similar to a dating service should be formed to introduce those that want to sell or receive human organs.

There are medical laboratories that are working around the clock to discover a surgical procedure to transplant the male sex organ. Illegal transplants have been made and some of them were successful. The identity of the donors are a closely guarded secret. There are Rumors that scientists are now on the verge of a medical breakthrough. When this happens over a hundred million aged men will be searching for sex organ donors. Their search will be a difficult one because very few males would give up their precious sex organ, it would take the offer of thousands of dollars to change the mind of a man that enjoys his sex life. At first only the rich will be able to afford the high price. But the prices will drop when an underground market opens. The ordinary man will then be able to afford the opportunity to become sexually active again..
.

Intelligent people are having a horrible nightmare, it will become a reality in the near future. We will see a new type of criminal, he will be the: "sex organ hunter". The most important thing to every male is his sex life, and men that have lost their sexual ability will pay anything to restore it. A sexually dysfunctional man will accept any sex organ regardless of where it came from. In order to supply the millions of men looking for a new sex organ a criminal element will get involved. I feel sorry for the helpless young guys that will become the targets of the "sex organ hunter". Young men will be forced to arm themselves against this beast.

We all want to live a long and healthy life. People will do anything to stay alive and be healthy. Even if we have to buy a part of another persons body. An agreeable exchange is acceptable, but it is a terrible crime to force another person to give up their sex organ or any other part of their body. I see a dark future ahead because the power of money is strong and it always seems to get what it wants, even if it is the best part of a helpless persons body.
