Buying the Perfect New Year's Cards

How to Get a Professional Looking E-Card, or Paper Card Sent from Your Favorite Card Makers

Jesse Mathewson
Every year we add holidays to our list, another card, present, or dinner. However, no holiday shines as big as New Year' day. This is a great holiday, and we know that year will never come again. Therefore, for me it is the time to send cards, small gifts and have a great time.

Typically, I will get cards for those who are my close friends, and family. I have taken in the recent years to sending E-Cards as they guarantee recyclable content. After all, what is better than a card that has no paper attached? For my E-Card needs I like to send them via Hallmark and American Greetings, both of these retailers/ E-tailers have a great collection of New Year's greeting cards as well as others. Hallmark has a selection of free E-Cards specifically designed for E-mailing. They are simple yet fun ways to spice up someone specials email box. Remember, 10 years ago this may have not been kosher however, this is the digital age and let us be honest how many of us actually live close enough to get together? Sending a New Year's card is a way of keeping in touch and letting them know they mean something to you. American Greetings allows you to join for 30 days (free) as a premium member and send E-Cards free. Try it; I think you may like it when you discover all of the great benefits of being able to card shop online, even your regular cards are available for purchase. American Greetings also allows you to create and print your very own custom, professional cards for any occasion not just a New Year's greeting card. Be sure to check these two great retailers/ e-tailers out in your town or online.

Next, we go to the standby's your very own grocery store. Whether it be a corner market like Circle K or Winn-Dixie or even a supermarket like Fry's or Kroger's you can almost guarantee they will have a great selection of cards for New Year's greetings. And while your there you can make sure your champagne is stocked and party trays are ready.

This New Years remember, recycle, reuse, and most of all have fun! After all this is one day, you will not see again. Go electronic as much as possible, however if you must buy paper cards, look for that little green recycled arrow on the back. Everyone doing there part can make it a better place for us all, Happy New Years to everyone!

Cool. I usually just get a basic card and scribble in it until I run out of space.

e cards are the best invention. If I forgot to send a person a card in the mail, they never know I forgot when I send an ecard.
I like your idea of New Year card and presents. How can I get on your list for a New Years present? I will send address soon. LOL Roberta Baxter
