Almost every young girl dreams of the day they are going to get married. Some of these girls even plan everything down to the perfect wedding dress, but when the times comes to pick out that dress, they're shocked at the amount of money it will cost to fulfill those dreams. Fortunately, with the advent of the internet, women have more options and choices than ever before and the ability to buy wholesale wedding dresses is a great opportunity to get their dream dress without having to get a second mortgage.

Just about every bride focuses on the style of the wedding dress when shopping for that dream dress and fails to consider that the fabric used to make that wedding dress also is very important. When buying wholesale wedding dresses remember timing is important. Wholesalers sell off season, which means that they sell summer goods in the winter and winter goods in the summer. Why is this important to you? Well, what this means for you is that if you have a summer wedding then buy your dress in the winter and if you have a winter wedding buy your dress in the summer.

It's important to keep in mind the season it will be on your wedding day, because the fabrics used to make these dresses are heavier in the winter than summer. Sweat marks are not a pretty look in any wedding photo! Fabrics also feel different.

Silk is a natural fiber that creates a fabric that can be worn both in the summer and winter, and depending on the weave it can have a shiny look or if blended with rayon a lighter feel and a low sheen texture. Some fabric weaves and materials used during the warmer seasons include Charmeuse, Damask, Crepe, Duchesse Satin, and Georgette.

Heavier fabric weaves and materials, such as Dupinoi, Gabardine, Jersey, Moiré, and Velvet are normally used for gowns in the colder seasons. In any season, for sheer areas and sometimes for sleeves, fabric weaves, such as Illusion, Organdy, Tulle, and Organza are used. Some winter dresses even have heavy underskirts to keep the bride warm in the winter.

The season in which you've set your wedding date plays a very important role in the kinds of fabric you want used in creation of your dress, heavier fabrics in the summer will make any bride uncomfortable during what's supposed to be the happiest day in her life. Other considerations, such as style and color, are all about your personal style. But when trying to get the best price through the purchase of wholesale wedding dress, it's also important to consider the fabric used. It's a matter of your comfort.
