Bells will be ringing all over the town
My heart is heavy, I am so weary, knowing my
little son is no where to be found
As we stand around the Christmas tree
Singing nearer my God to Thee
His presence, we can feel it all around
And we wish for his happy little sound
Christmas and New Year will not be the same
No, not in this house, it won't be the same
Until our Gardy is back home once again
Merry Christmas; Happy New Year; Season Greetings
they all read the same
As we open them, cards after cards after cards,
most of them even bear his name
God on this New Year when bells are ringing,
and voices singing Happy New Year
We'll be so happy, oh so happy, if Gardy is
back home, with us, once again
Oh, God, let it be, please, let it be
As we gather round the family Christmas Tree
Singing nearer my God to Thee
God, I pray, let it be, let it be, let it be
By New Year Gardy will sing with mommy and me
