The BYU vs. Kansas State game could be a great 2010 NCAA Tournament result. BYU vs. Kansas State is a second round NCAA Tournament game coming out of the West Region in Oklahoma City. BYU made it to the second round of the tournament by beating SEC powerhouse Florida in double overtime, while Kansas State got there with a much easier game against North Texas. The BYU-Florida game was one of the best of this young 2010 NCAA Tournament, and it really showed that this BYU team can be clutch when they need to be. For Kansas State, they end up with one of the toughest matches that a top seed will get in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

The BYU vs. Kansas State game was given a prime time billing on Saturday, March 21st, as it will be played at 8:10 p.m. EST on CBS (5:10 p.m. PST). The game gets a few minutes before the Kentucky-Wake Forest game may take over quite a few television sets in the eastern part of the country, but with the capabilities to watch all of the 2010 NCAA Tournament games on the CBS Web site, it has become a lot easier to keep up with all of the games taking place. This will be the night-cap game in the West Region, and will decide which team will advance to play either Xavier or Pittsburgh in the NCAA Tournament Sweet Sixteen beginning on March 25th in Salt Lake City.

Brigham Young would definitely love to play in Salt Lake City in the next two rounds of the NCAA Tournament, and they would get that chance if they can pull the upset against No. 2 seeded Kansas State. On paper, BYU stacks up very well against Kansas State of the Big 12, and BYU also has star player Jimmer Fredette trying to take this team all the way on his back. Kansas State isn't a No. 2 seed through a fluke though, as this is one of the best that the Big 12 Conference has to offer. BYU (30-5) vs. Kansas State (27-7) will be one of, it not the best game to watch in the second round of the 2010 NCAA Tournament brackets, so don't miss it Saturday night.
