The Cabbage Soup diet was designed with impatient people in mind. While other long term diets might work, helping you lose maybe a pound a week or so, they are often hard to stick by. Many people will begin to feel bored or discouraged when they do not see quick results. By following the Cabbage Soup diet you will see fast results. This seven day program is not meant for long term weight loss and should not be followed for more then seven days. However, if you are happy with the results of this seven day diet, you may want to then start using another long term diet to help you continue losing weight. This diet works by limiting the food you eat to only cabbage soup.
One of the great things about the Cabbage Soup diet is that you can eat as much food as you want. Whatever you do, you must stick to the diet though. If the food begins to be too plain or bland for your taste, you can spice it up with some of your own spices. You should also consume at least four glasses of water a day, and always remember to take a good multivitamin when using the Cabbage Soup diet. That can help offset the loss of some nutrients not found in cabbage soup. You may begin to feel like you can no longer do it, but if you keep your mind on the weight loss, and the fact that it is only seven days, you will be able to effectively lose weight quickly.
If you are not sure how well this diet will really work or if it is worth it, take a look at both Sarah Michelle Geller, and Jamie Pressly who both followed this seven day diet before having to appear at some of Hollywood's biggest events. If the Cabbage Soup diet was good enough for television, it should work well enough for whatever even you need to lose weight for.
Using the Cabbage soup diet is a great, quick way to lose weight. You should remember, however, that it is not a good long term weight loss idea, but could be used to jump start another weight loss plan.
