Flavorful Menu Options
Many of the menu options have South American flair, but Café Brazil focuses on the café title more so than the Brazilian aspect. The extensive menu features an eclectic assortment of breakfast fare, entrees and desserts. It covers all the bases, including vegetarian options as well as meals with enough meat to satisfy any aspiring carnivore.
Café Brazil is a good option when dining with people with diverse tastes because it offers everything from spicy foods, such as chorizo and empanadas, to more common diner food, such as pancakes and omelets.
The rosemary potatoes are a favorite. It sounds simple, but the seasoning is a delicious change of pace from traditional fries.
Entrées are very affordable, under $10, and many foods are available a la carte.
Beverage Selection
Ordering coffee should not cause performance anxiety, but that is exactly how it feels when coffee places manufacture ridiculous lingo and do not have time to make recommendations. Café Brazil's unpretentious approach makes it easy to try new brews and specialty beverages without getting the evil eye from baristas and fellow patrons.
The restaurant's bottomless cup of coffee is under $3 and gives diners access to seven self-serve brews. This is a great way to try different coffees without overspending. The selection changes daily and coffee beans are also available for brewing at home.
The drink selection features a variety of beverages including standard coffeehouse options, Italian sodas, sodas and frozen drinks.
Discounts, Coupons and Freebies
In addition to modest prices, Café Brazil regularly offers discounts. Kids eat free on certain days of the week, teachers receive a twenty percent discount and there is a punch card program.
Café Brazil has a strong online presence and offers specials via Facebook and Twitter. Past specials ranged from a free bottomless cup of coffee to a free breakfast entrée.
All locations also have free Wi-Fi.
The Flipside
The restaurant is colorful and welcoming, but it is essentially one large open room without partitions and gets noisy during busy times. The patio area is a nice alternative, but it is difficult to access the coffee bar for refills.
Parking can be an issue at some locations such as Deep Ellum.
Café Brazil Dallas
There are nearly a dozen Café Brazil locations in the Dallas area. Business hours vary with each location, but most are open 24 hours on weekends. Check out the Café Brazil Facebook page for more information and pictures of the latest special dishes.

Post a CommentGreat review Drew. I'm with you I would rather not have a dining place so noisy. The food sounds great.
Sounds great - if I ever get to Dallas - cheers :)
