Cafe World on Facebook: Cafe Design Tips

It is crucial to design your café correctly when playing Café World on Facebook. A poorly designed café will result in lost revenue which will make it harder to progress through the game. Here are three tips that will help you design an effective café layout in Café World.

Café World Design Tip #1: Place Furniture and Decorations Effectively

Any number of tables can be pushed together to create a place for two or more people to sit. This saves space and enables you to increase the number of customers you serve. However, make sure there is a square in between sets of tables so your servers can get customer's orders to them before they become impatient and leave, dropping your buzz rating in the process.

Make sure there is at least one free square around decorations like fountains or plants too. Servers may not be able to reach tables if decorations are blocking their path.

As a side note, only place one chair per table. Only one customer can eat at a table, so placing more than one chair is a waste of space and money, even though it might be more aesthetically pleasing to the eye.

Café World Design Tip #2: Keep Expansions in Mind When Purchasing Flooring and Wall Coverings

As you progress through Café World on Facebook, you'll probably want to expand your café. It's fine to let your imagination run wild when remodeling your dining area. When it comes to the kitchen, you may want to wait to place expensive flooring until you've expanded a few times. The kitchen area expands to the right of the screen so you'll have to move your stoves and counters back to make more room in the dining area. This means that any flooring or wall coverings that corresponded to your kitchen theme may need to be replaced to match your dining room.

As a side note, floor and wall coverings can not be sold like other objects in the game (i.e. tables, counter, decorations etc.). Your only option is to replace them.

Café World Design Tip #3: Avoid Buying Lots of Decorations

Once you have expanded to one of the largest cafes available, it is fine to buy as many decorations as you want. However, during the first few expansions, limit the number of decorations you purchase. You should focus on increasing the amount of customers you can serve so buying more tables and chairs should be a priority.
