Cafepress.com gives creative People a way to sell their Artwork via the Internet. If you have ever dreamed of getting your Art put on Shirts, Buttons, Magnets, Mugs and more, but didn't know how to go about it you have to give Cafepress.com a chance.

This company has been around since 1999 and steadily improves their merchandize and service.

By opening your own store (either a free version with a limit of only one image) or a shop at a small monthly fee (with unlimited Items and Images) you can sell your Artwork on Products ranging from Clothing to Mouse pads.

Image upload is extremely easy and they give you tutorials to help you with the Guidelines for best quality on your Products.

You have to own the copyright the Images or Text you wish to display. Your Website is fully editable and you can make it look anyway you wish. For those of you that are literate with HTML you can write your very own Webpage Appearance, for everyone else you can use one of their many Templates.

How does it work?

You download your Art to your Media Basket; decide which products you wish to sell. Just follow the simple instructions and add your Art to your chosen Product.
Each product has a base price, which is how the site makes their money. You will have to decide how much money you wish to make on each item. Your revenue is whatever you have chosen to charge above the base price.

Make sure to give your Product a precise and descriptive Title, which will help potential costumers to find your Store.
Your Store will be listed in their directory; however you are responsible to market your own Products. Depending on what you sell and how much effort you put into your marketing you can make a nice profit of your store.

Cafepress does all the printing, production and shipping for you. You will be paid out via Paypal or Check for your cut, depending on which payment method you have chosen.

Cafepress give you a 15% discount if you purchase your own products in bulk, plus you are only charged the base price. For those of you that are marketing challenged, they offer a marketing service for a fee. Cafepress is worth a look.

Their products have a place for everything. No matter if your passion is Dogs, Cats, Babies or Dragons. Shalamars Fantasy Corner for example specializes in Dragon and other mystical Creatures. Tip, when choosing your Stores Name you want to make sure that it includes the Type of Art you produce.

When advertising your Store you address will be simple to remember: www.cafepress.com/ your Store name here. Why not take advantage of your own store by producing some Bumper Stickers or magnets with your Store Web Address and one of your favorite Artworks.

This site is simple to work, reliable, always up and dependable in payouts. I personally have created products in several diverse Stores (yes you can have more then one) and have purchased Products from my own Store as well as others.

Another Idea on how to profit from your Store and Art. Since this is a "Create on Demand" Store you don't loose anything nor do you have to have inventory sitting around your house. Why not list some of your Products for sale on Ebay. Just make sure you don't under price yourself and keep the shipping and handling costs they charge in mind. Make sure to let your Customers know how long it takes before they receive the item.

I've been wanting to try this out. I'm trying to come up with slogans that might sell through eBay. How about "I Bought This T-Shirt and All I Got Was This Lousy T-Shirt" Or how about "If You Think I'm Good-Looking...You Should See Me Without the T-Shirt"
