Calendar Man, Kite-Man, Ten-Eyed Man and 12 Other Worst Batman Villains

Batman is up there with Spider-man with one of the best gallery of villains. Just like Spider-man that also means that Batman has seen his share of duds too. For every Riddler there is a Cluemaster, for every Two Face there is a Ten-Eyed Man and for every Mad Hatter there is a Tweedledum and Tweedledee.

Batzarro
Bizarro was a fine villain in Superman. He was basically a bizarre version of Superman that was incorrect in every way, even his speech. But when DC Comics made Bizarro villains for everyone else in their universe they took it a step too far

Calendar Man
Calendar Man is a villain obsessed with dates and by dates I don't mean intimate dinners with some super fly villainess. Calendar Man is obsessed with dates on the calendar. Calendar Man once joined a group with Catman and Killer Moth as a group of C-level villains trying to prove themselves. They didn't.

Cluemaster
Cluemaster's gimmick was that any time he committed a crime he would leave a clue behind. This would usually lead to his downfall but he would do it anyway. Sound familiar? Cluemaster is basically the same character as the Riddler except his clues were less creative.

Humpty Dumpty
Humpty Dumpty was a very round villain, similar to everybody's favorite nursery rhyme egg, and liked to put things together again. This often led to him taking the object apart first before putting them back together. This became pretty interesting when he killed his aunt by "taking her apart" and then trying to sew her back together again. Other than that nothing good has come from this character.

Killer Moth
There are a lot of characters based on things that fly. Some are named after birds and others are named after insects. Batman is even based on a flying rodent. Once so many flying creatures have been used that you're resorting to using a moth then it's time to think of something new.

Kite Man
Kite Man obviously loves kites. He decided to use kite based weapons and fly using a kite. Not only is this character dumb but it is also scarring. I can never happily watch Mary Poppins ever again.

Ten-Eyed Man
Ten-Eyed Man injured his eyes while he was at war and permanently lost his sight while fighting Batman. Ten-Eyed Man then found a doctor that could redirect his sight through his fingers, allowing him to have ten "eyes" through his fingers. This doctor must be the same doctor in the Human Centipede.

Tweedledum and Tweedledee
Dumfree and Deever Tweed, aka Tweedledum and Tweedledee, were obviously borrowed from Alice and Wonderland. I was willing to give them Mad Hatter but Tweedledum and Tweedledee is a little much. Give the Clock King a pair of bunny ears and we can just recreate the whole movie.

Crazy Quilt
Crazy Quilty is another villain that had an accident involving his eyes (villains should really wear goggles or sunglasses). After his accident Crazy Quilt can see but the colors are blindingly vivid and disorienting. Later CQ is permanently blinded by Robin and the Quilt becomes obsessed with wanting to kick Robin's scrawny little butt. We've all been there Crazy Quilt.

Orca
Grace Balin has a Ph. D in Marine Biology and Bio-Medicine so naturally she becomes a super villain that injects herself with a chemical formula that she developed from an Orca and then has to wear a silly whale costume. Isn't that what Ph. D's are for?

Solly Bean
Solly Bean is a character that only appeared for one series of comics. Solly Bean had very strong cannibalistic tendencies. Batman has always been a dark character but cannibalism is a line that should not be crossed and that is probably why he hasn't been seen since.

The Eraser
The Eraser got his nickname because when he committed crimes he was great at covering his tracks, or "erasing" his tracks. That's not a bad character. That is, until he starts dressing like a pencil with an eraser as a head.

The Spook
The Spook had great abilities at escaping danger so he learned how to conjure up some special effects and used his abilities to make him seem like a ghost called The Spook.

Bookworm
The Bookworm is a villain that was created for the 1960s Batman television series. The Bookworm's abilities were that he was really smart and read books and stuff. He also wore glasses. That's some stereotyping there. Oh sure, he's smart so he must wear glasses! If people with glasses are so smart then why do I wear glasses? No, wait...

Egghead
The Egghead from the 1960s Batman television series had a domed head like an egg and used a lot of puns like calling something "eggcellent" instead of "excellent." That's lame but not the worst idea in the world so why is he ranked number one? The reason is the actor that played Egghead. The 60's Batman television series had a host of talented actors of the era and Vincent Price was the best of all of them. How dare they waste the talents of Vincent Price on Egghead.
