California's Date-Nut Bran Muffins

Pat Burroughs
California produces so many wonderful food products for the rest of the country, including honey, dates, and walnuts, which are used in this recipe.

Date-Nut Bran Muffins start with the basic recipe for Bran Muffins, found with the other basic muffin recipes at:

Okay, so the URL is back to what it should be, and I republished the Ohio recipe. Hope it's not up twice now.

These sound good too. Strange how the URLs changed. I'll have to print these and give them a try. My family loves homemade muffins. Thanks!

Kay, actually the Ohio recipe has raisins in it, too, so I think when Mary Lynn commented, the page had the Ohio recipe on it. Did you notice that the URL is for the Buckeye Buckwheat Muffins from Ohio? It's not anything you did wrong and you're not losing your mind. And no, I don't think there are any date farms in Ohio, but one never knows. If AC doesn't fix this in a day or two, I'll republish the Ohio one but I guess I'll have to rename it and maybe redo and rename the California one, too.

PS- So no date farms in Ohio, right? LOL!

Whew! OK, so it wasn't just me- Mary Lynne did it too! For a second there I thought I was losing my mind. I guess it is AC. Yeah, let them know. This isn't cool. I hope it doesn't screw up your PV's.

Kay, I don't know what happened here, but AC has apparently lost my Ohio recipe since the first people commented on here. Notice that this article now has the URL for Ohio's. If they don't get this fixed right away, I'll just republish the Ohio article.

I did not know that dates where grown in Ohio! I learn something new everyday. Thanks!

I'll bet these freeze beautifully too. My husband loves the ingredients you've listed!
