# 5 Don't get caught on your cell Phone while driving
This way is not the best way advice to give, but if you are going to talk on a hand held device then don't get caught using it while driving. Talking on a hand held cell phone device is a very bad habit to break, but just remember if you decide to risk it your odds on getting caught are usually 50/50.
# 4 Only talk on the phone for a few minutes
This advice is for both people who talk on Hand held devices and Hands free. Since there are two laws taking place and one of them is for people 18 and under that prohibits them from any cell phone use while driving, this may be something to think about. If you really have to be on a cell phone while driving then only talk on the phone for a few minutes then get off. Tell the people you are talking to you are driving and you will call them back when you are stopped.
# 3 Put your hand held cell phone on speaker
This advice is for people who do not have hands free devices. Instead of putting your phone right to your ear, put your speaker phone on. This way you are less likely to get a ticket because you have your speaker phone on.
# 2 Get a Hands Free Device
This is probably a good thing to help people avoid getting a ticket for talking on their cell phones while driving. Getting a hands free device is a very safe thing to do and you will probably not get a ticket for doing so unless you are 18 and under. Getting a hands free device is inexpensive and definitely follows the Law.
