Complain About Call Centers Virgin Mobile Really Messed Me Up

I had another bad experience today and I can share my correspondence with you if you request it from me. I have written as many agencies as I can find and I have been reading automated idiocy from Virgin Mobile all day. This is a real life news story. I have real time ideas to improve the wireless and communication industry service. I need real people to support and join this effort. It's easy. See end of story. Send me your story, too

Wireless providers are wearing me down. I feel I am as important to my cell provider as a maggot in a garbage can . I am a consumer of cheap cell minutes, the company makes its money on cheap phones. If they loose one dissatisfied customer, it won't matter because their phone costs about 34 cents to manufacture overseas. No one hears from dissatisfied wireless customers or mainstream telecommunication customers.

There are those religious sects who believe we are at the END OF DAYS. I am at the END OF MY ROPE. I AM OUT OF MINUTES. Certainly you have been in the same situation. The next time you refill your phone or select a cell phone service or decide on a land line provider consider what happened to me.
I will attach documents with my number xx'd out because I am on a pay per minute plan.

Virgin Mobile should change their slogan to "Life Isn't a Bowl of Cherries." I had a simple problem resulting in
over a week of headaches. I bought my Virgin Mobile for 2 reasons. I can add minutes every 90 days, and if I loose
my phone I am able to keep my number. I travel, I buy these little phones drop in $10.00 in area codes which I
visit, and when I leave I gift my clients the phones. It's great. My primary cell phone is 703- lets say AAA-BBBB.
I was not too upset, after all, I just call Virgin Mobile and transfer my number to a new phone.

So I lost my phone, it's not supposed to be a big deal, However, after visiting the web page for Virgin Mobile,
which did not catch all the information, but accepted my inquiry, I connected with Simone. I just want to keep
703-AAA-BBBB. It was my number, I don't want this caliber of company to have my credit information, my address,
my pets name, my e-mail and my social security number. Manila asked for it, I wonder why?

For those of you who are uninitiated, Simone, the automated voice at
Virgin Mobile is the so cool, so hip, she will soon cause you to hear the sound of an "ordinary human
woman gone wild." Simone can't hear , she's so cute, she's so deaf, she so , so SIMONE. Simone's equipment
can't read anything she assures you to just dial and key into her system. This is Simone's number- 1-888-322-1122. Give her a call.

She is a professional, isn't she. Don't you just really believe this is a sweet and innocent girl who is right on track and on top of it. She isn't, she will make you relieved to hear the background country music at least then you are connected to a live hearing person.

SIMONE is trashy. You can tell, she is just trashy. Giving people the run around and acting surprised they have a problem , does she care, no. And she is a free labor sort of girl. You know, giving the vibe away. At this point everyone is happy to connect to

a person.

My live person was in Manila. My happiness was short lived. The person was alive. She did not speak any English other than what dialogue was provided on her script. I am not so evil, conceited, difficult or nasty to just bitch about this person. I worked in a call center, (yes, I did) . I am nice to people. I have also lived overseas. I understand her accent, this woman had barely any accent. Soon however it was obvious she did not understand a word I said.

"I lost my phone, I bought a new phone, now I would like to reconnect my number. I want to maintain my old number, 703-AAA-BBBB."

"I finished it now, You finished that same." said woman. "You are deleted, this is for you -703-XXX-XXXX."

"No, No !" I was panicked. I really need the number, I can loose the contacts but there are Baghdad Daddies trying to reach Michelle on ,my reliable number. My MD, out of state, is calling me to let me know what antibiotics I am allergic to. My boss is overseas and he doesn't know what happened. I can't call him , but he calls me every Monday. The boyfriend is trying to reach me, I am sick and out of state and my headaches and he is traveling, so if he calls home ---- my new number doesn't work. It won't work for 24 hours. That's what Manila tells me. In a little while I will tell you what I think of Manila.

THIS IS WHRE YOU CAN STICK IT TO THE COMPANY - ALL OF MY E-MAILS TO THIS POINT STATE I WANT TO KEEP MY OLD NUMBER.

Virgin Mobile changed my number without asking me for permission to make changes in my account or service. The actions of Virgin Mobile are A TITLE 7 FCCVIOLATION.

I know what time I spoke with the people, I have their first names only. These companies are supposed to make tapes of employees performance for "Quality Control".

Virgin Mobile keeps sending me little e-mails from OurTeam@VirginMobileUSA.com. Please send an e-mail to Virgin Mobile for me. They think our transaction was a success. Not in this lifetime.

Not even my MAMA thinks this has been a successful transaction. I keep e-mailing Our Team little replies to inform them things are not alright between us .I want my number 703-AAA-BBBB - IT IS MY NUMBER. (They have my social security number on file - I don't like that. They could become nasty and play with my credit, but I'm not that paranoid- I do plan to find someone who is and drop that little idea on them. Ha )

No one at Virgin Mobile will give me the address of their corporate legal department or connect me to the supervisor. I swear. This is a what kind of company? But Manila said they can find my old number again because it will be in some suspension mode for a few hours, but I have to call back.

I spend four hours on the phone to get this far, I am under the clock.
How will I connect with a human who can do anything at Virgin Mobile in the four hours I have remaining while my real number 703-AAA-BBBB is in abeyance.

I have many reasons to really complain, but where do I go? To church? And it is really true that I am very sick. I have a friend reading over my shoulder to make sure I have the

right information. I think this fiasco with Virgin Mobile making promises to me about how easily I can maintain my phone number if I switch plans or
upgrade to a new phone is WIRE FRAUD. YEAH. It is Wire Fraud, that is the Sherman Act and is covered by the United States Department of Justice.
I'm thinking, also , there are truth in advertising laws. I know this, we have an ad agency. You can't advertise that you sell ducks and pass off a painted
parakeet as a duck. That is not right. If you went to a Chinese Restaurant and ordered a duck and ended up with a tie dyed parakeet on your plate don't you just know that the Health Department would be all over that place. You know that's true. So I am really, really angry with Virgin Mobile and I have a plan.
After I tell you what I think of Manila I will share my little plan with you. Oh Yeah, I have plans for Virgin Mobile. I really do. I have pneumonia, I am sick
I am out of town, I hate where I am, I am going broke and no one can call me to tell me where to pick up some money. I am a wreck. Really. I want
my phone number. Eventually I dialed Simone and she ran off at her mouth and ran off at her mouth until I connected with humans in SPOKANE.

They were Tera, Jason, Janine and Dave. in SPOKANE. Jason and Tera were ok, Janine and Dave are awful, I hope Janine is monitored every day for the rest of her life (you know, they say they make these little quality control tapes - why not turn some into FOX NEWS). Dave said, "HEY HAHA, WE reserve the right to change our plans and services at any moment.Your number is 703-XXX- YYYY, but on two counts he is wrong. Tera told me to dump my battery and type in 703-XXX-XXXX then Janine said do it over with 703-XXX-YYYY. SO now neither number is activated.

And how many times can you change your service and switch it back, I mean the original offer of transferring numbers remains on the web page.

More like BAIT AND SWITCH I THINK. Spokane won't provide me with an address to the company legal or Board of Directors. What am I dealing with?
Are these people the MAFIA?

So I found these numbers of people to whom you can complain. And I will share what I sent.

Considering that all phone companies are using satellites, routers, and transmission frequencies which are regulated by the government the operation of the transmissions and products used on the public utilty should be subject to compliance of laws which protect CONSUMERS. Many telecommunications industries receive Research and Development Grants from the Department of Defense or other agencies. I want an accounting of which companies are using my tax dollars and I want my government to develop an infrastructure which will monitor and process complaints. This isn't a BIG BROTHER spy network. It is a process through which I can get what I pay for. Think of it as a Mental Health Department monitoring agency for Communication Industries.
And I think the Federal Securities and Exchange Commission should consider what's happening with VirginMobile Stock. Are these people selling stock on the basis of promises they can't keep and technology which they claim can't deliver a simple transfer of a number? WHOA.
Finally, Call Centers in Foreign Countries are more difficult to monitor. They don't know our laws, don't know our language and have access to a lot of information which is important to our health and safety - That's what Homeland Security is supposed to provide for me. I live in the District of Columbia
many government agencies and private companies use Nextels or cell phones, areas as diverse as Traffic Signal Maintenance, Emergency Crews, Sales Teams, FEMA workers, Social Workers, we rely on all these things. VIRGIN MOBILE DELETED MY NUMBER WHAT IF SOMEONE IN CHINA OR MANILA OR EVEN SPOKANE WANTED TO DELETE AN ENTIRE DATA BASE OF INFORMATION _ Could we ever retrieve it.

I am shaken. I suggest you write to the Attorney General in Spokane Washington, The Federal Communication Commission, The Center for Democracy and
Technology, the Senators and Congressmen who serve on Communications Committees, and how about even the Central Intelligence Agency. What is really going on in overseas call centers? There are a lot of anti Americans, that's for real. Sometimes you can hear hostility in people's voices. I think that we need more jobs here in the USA. There are a lot of people in the shrinking middle class who can use those shift jobs. I don't think Manila and China would provide
such cost effective solutions to labor if the company had to pay a fine. I want some restitution. I want my number back and I want at least $100.00 in air time and a phone with a reliable battery, not one which is exposed like my "replacement upgrade".

I want to know why our government does not have protected industries, our communications, our ports and our weaponry should be American owned and
owned.

FOR PHONES - I HAVEN"T FOUND A RESPONSIBLE COMPANY YET

The phone company, ATT MA Bell , had a model which worked for customers, It isn't working now, no one uses it and it is not adequate for the numbers of communications products and providers. We need to insist that on phone bills one page (and we already pay enough in printing and distribution) is
direct mail to federal agencies to describe problems. They should give us the FCC address, the Attorney General Address, the Address and E-mails of Congressmen and also Homeland Security.

Let's have Big Brother work for us, force the phone companies to provide a form which

Is addressed to the agencies which monitor their business. Every cell phone package, every booklet of instructions and in every phone bill. I want the mailing address of Congressmen who are on committees regulating this industry, and I want the Dept of Commerce and every address I need provided to me, in good faith, by the provider.

It's the end of the day for me. I hope my phone works tomorrow. I really want my number.

    I am supposed to apologize? Hell, who helps out the customer, consumer and who regulates the industry why don't they give me their legal department phone number?

    Virgin Mobile discontinued my service because I can't provide them the Bar Code of the First REPLACEMENT PHONE I RETURNED WHEN MY NUMBER WAS REINSTATED AND THEY APOLOGIZED FOR SENDING ME A RECYCLED SLICE WITH BAD COVER ON THE BATTERY. HOW WAS I TO KNOW I NEEDED TO KEEP THE BAR CODE ON THE PRE PRINTED LABEL? IF THEY TOLD ME I DON"T REMEMBER WHERE ARE THOSE TAPES THEY HAVE OF CALLS MONITORED FOR BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE?
    NOW THEY SAY THEY CAN SUE ME FOR SATIRE AND GIVING AN ACCOUNT OF THEIR LOUSY SERVICE. SO TITLE 7 SUDDENLY CHANGED? ANYBODY FOR A CLASS ACTION SUIT?
