Story : The story takes place in World War 2, which is a subject that hardly gets old to me personally. In general, the story is very adult and is quite graphic. The game does a good enough job developing it's characters, but doesn't do it as good as the other Call of Duty games unfortunately. Still, the story is solid.
Graphics : The graphics in Call of Duty games are usually spectacular and this is no exception. The World War 2 setting really provides an incredible atmosphere, and Treyarch does an incredible job at bringing it to life. All the characters are drawn and animated extremely well, and the detail in every texture is something that every company should aspire to.
Sound : Sound is an important part of any World War 2 game. The idea of being surrounded with such menacing, life threatening sounds is something that is underrated by many but not by Treyarch. Once again, they've outdone themselves here and provided a game that's an experience in atmosphere. The music, sound effects, and voice acting are all top notch.
Game play : The game play is the same as every other Call of Duty game, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. If you know how to play the other games, this one will be very familiar to you. The levels are extremely well designed and are really engaging. The game moves at the perfect pace, not too slow and not too fast. The controls are flawless, responsive and sensitive. My only gripe here is you can't make your own control scheme but it's fine as the one they provide is still very good.
The difficulty is very good as well, the enemies are much more intelligent this time around and really give you a great fight but aren't so difficult that you'll be screaming and cursing the creators. The real incentive for this game though? The multi player, which is just mind blowing fun. I can't really express how great this game is for multi player, so just take my word for it.
Re playability : Due to the multi player alone, this game's re playability is off the charts.
Overall : 9/10. Perhaps the only flaw of this game is that it's not entirely original or unique. Still, it's a great game and one that deserves your attention.
