Here I am calling on Heaven
With a thin voice piercing through
The vast mist of a cloudy sky.
Here I am battling the waves of turmoil
With a frail strength striving to stay afloat
Like a weary child.
Here I am in the heat of a desert,
Deserted of all protections
As I fight the wild.
Here I am in the pitch dark
Searching for a light
To lead me right.
Here I am lost to the sea of chaos,
Puzzled to my spirit
And asking why.
I am here calling on Heaven
Hopeful that He shows me mercy
And I stay alive.

Post a CommentPowerful poem. Sometimes a call on heaven is what we need to do first before trying to lean on our own understanding. Great work.
