Campbell's has a new line of chunky soups on the market. They come in a can with a black label. It states right on the label; When you've got extreme hunger go for the black can. Campbell's offers various new soups they call the Chunky Team.
The product we tried was called Chunky Fully Loaded Turkey Pot Pie. Now the new thing about the black can soups is that they contain more chunks of meat or vegetables than other soups offered by the same company. I can attest to the fact that this turkey pot pie soup was loaded with big pieces of turkey and vegetables. Campbell's claims these new super loaded chunky soups will fill the hardiest appetite. I believe this to be true. The can we tried between two people held 1LB 2.8 OZ. of soup. I hesitate to call it soup because it really is like a stew. With a glass of apple juice and some crackers my portion was enough to fill me up.
This soup is a good choice for me because I am on the run all the time and sometimes do not have time to cook. So the black can will come in handy on those busy days. Heated up the taste was very pleasing. It provides a hardy meal for those who need to dish up a quick bite to eat.
There are 200 calories per serving, 8 grams of fat, 21 grams of carbohydrates, 11 grams of protein, and 800 milligrams of sodium per serving. That is a lot of sodium so I probably would not eat this too regularly. But it's nice to know that a good hot meal is only a few minutes away from the dinner table when you need it. And kids can peel the label off and use it to get things for their school.
So when you are hungry and in a hurry reach for the black can. It tastes good, it's not expensive, and can be quite handy when its needed. Because of this we will definitely try the other brands of the Chunky Team.
The list of ingredients is very long so I will not include that here but information about this product and others offered by Campbell's can be obtained at;
