Kastle Kampground is located in Marion, WI in Waupaca County. This campground rests on over 100 acres of beautiful maple, oak, and pine trees. There are over 600 sites ranging from partially sunny to shady and wooded. Each site has water and electrical hookups. Fire pits and picnic tables can be found at each site.
Don't feel like cooking over the open fire? The Snack Shack has many treats and the Kastle offers a full menu.
They have much to offer for enjoyment and entertainment including swimming, recreation, nature, and a playground. You can enjoy fishing, swimming, or boating on the sparkling 20 acre Kinney Lake. You are likely to catch perch, bass, pan fish, and northerns. You can fish off of one of the docks or take one of the available boats from onshore. Enjoy canoeing or paddle boating.
If you don't care to swim in the lake, Kastle Kampground has a very nice in-ground pool with an attached whirlpool. Children especially have fun swirling in the whirlpool. Adults soak away their troubles in the hot tub.
There are tennis courts, a miniature golf course, a shuffle board court, and volleyball court. After a warm day in the sun, hot showers are available. The bathhouses are modern and relatively clean. If you've forgotten anything at home, go to the general store.
Kastle Kampground has several upcoming activities that will take you and family through the summer. Over Memorial weekend on May 26, 2007, there will be a nature walk, games, ice cream social, popcorn, and a dunk tank. Over this weekend on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, there will be shown outdoor and camping-related funny movies. June 2 the Strong Man Contest will be held. On June 8 and 15 view some spectacular campers at the Kastle Kamper Show. When I was there, it was fun just to watch some of the fancy RV units pull into the campground. June 9 Easter Weekend is the time to partake in the wine and cheese social. June 16 is Possee Weekend. There will be a Father's Day project and ice cream social. Other fun activities June through September are the Poker Run, Golf Cart Rodeo, Fourth of July Weekend, Dart Tournament, Golf Outing, Christmas in July Event, Kustom Kar Show, 50s/60s Rummage Sale Weekend, Mini Golf Outing, Halloween Weekend, and Labor Day Weekend.
As you can see, the owners of this campground make great effort to entertain and make your stay at the campground a memorable one. There are several other kid-friendly activities as well such as kid's fishing clinic, kid's crafts and games, golf cart parades, music, and theme weekends. Several playgrounds are available to encourage your child to be social and active.
If you care to venture into town, visit Perry's Landing 18 hole golf course or make your way through the Marion A-Maze-Ment Park.
My advice is that you go to http://www.kastlekampground.com to take a virtual tour of their facility and find out what the rates are. They have a complete website with pictures and contact information.
I'm not the most social person in the world so the best time to visit the campground for folks like me would be during the week, probably Tuesday through daytime on Friday. If you want it quieter, the weekends, Friday through Monday, are not the time to stay. If you are the social type, staying on weekends is the perfect time to meet new people.

Yep...now the seasonal people are trying to dump their campers on Craigslist. BE VERY CAREFUL folks, some of these ads don't say they are at Kastle!!! Remember, this pervert is OUT of jail because his wife bailed him out and he is still the OWNER of this campground. RUN!! FAST!!
I would not recommend to anyone to camp at Kastle Kampground. We stayed there over Memorial weekend and I've never had a worse experience camping. I should have known we'd have issues when every time we called to make payment on our reservation, we couldn't reach anyone. No one returned our messages. Then when I finally did reach someone, I was charged twice and it was like pulling teeth to get reimbursed. Another person in our party was charged 3 times. The owners, along with the staff were terribly rude. The worst customer service I've ever seen at a campground. People were double booked on campsites. People were coming in and they couldn't find their reservation. It was complete chaos. The campsites we were on were small. The prices on their activities were high. Overall, I was really disappointed and will not return. And now to find out the owner is a pervert that was sexually assulting children
