Campus PD, Season 2 Premiere, Episode 1 aired on G4 Wednesday night, with vignettes involving students of the University of Cincinnati and New Mexico State University. More mayhem and foolishness ensued from some of America's young adults, surrounding drugs and drink. The Season 2 Premiere, Episode 1, of Campus PD featured uncooperative and smart alec students who think they're above the law. But some of them found out the hard way they aren't.

University of Cincinnati and New Mexico State University Students Were Featured on the Season 2 Premiere, Episode 1 of Campus PD

In the first vignette, police respond to a loud party of University of Cincinnati college students. The students are told to leave, but one smart alec young lady chides an officer because she feels he should be targeting real criminals instead of loud, boozing college students. A warning was issued for a noise violation.

Next, Las Cruces, New Mexico police stop a pick up truck full of bare-chested males coming from a party. The officer was concerned there were some underage riders in the back and that the driver was naked, but neither ended up being the case. A citation was issued to the New Mexico State University student for driving without a license, but he was told to show his license in court.

The "Hippie Lettuce" Got Some Students in Trouble on the Campus PD Season 2, Episode 1 Premiere

In Conway, Arkansas, where the University of Central Arkansas is located, a driver was stopped for suspected DWI. The driver wanted a lawyer present before he took the tests, then claimed he was nervous, then wanted a lawyer. The police arrested him and found some "hippie lettuce" in his truck, which the driver was charged for.

In the final vignette of the Season 2 Premiere, Episode 1 of Campus PD, at Highland Heights, Kentucky (where Northern Kentucky University is) a driver was stopped for expired tags. He said he was picking up his mom, though he doesn't know where she works. A K-9 was brought in to search the car because of suspicion of pot, and ultimately the student fessed up to having a bit of it in his arse, after initially denying having any. He was arrested for possession.

Unfortunately, drinking and drugs keep the police busy when it involves college students as this show has shown. Campus PD is living proof that some people go to college to get more stupid.

College is four years of growing up, and acknowledging control of new found independence from parents. Sometimes that freedom involves stupidity.

Great coverage Roy, but I had no clue that this show even existed. I guess that I need to watch more t.v.

Day Nine and we still haven't had the tv turned on! Seems like all heck has been breaking loose around here - today, with no wind - a tree fell down in our backyard. More work, picking up limbs and such. Thanks for the recap, Roy. cheers ;)
