They are at once identified as a behavior problem. It is important to re-classify these little genuises and create an environment that encourages their alertness in more functional way. The same children who are labeled ADHD today will be the captains of industry or the Scientific researcher who finds a cure for cancer tomorrow.

These children discover all the rules and regulations are in direct opposition to their natural behavior. They discover that their behavior is unacceptable. This knowledge is a blow to their self-esteem. The change of environment represents a difficult transition for any child but is especially difficult for a child with ADHD.
The best help for these hi-energy impressionable children is to allow them to incorporate all their senses into the learning environment. This means movement, dance, singing, hand clapping and even laughing. Educational research shows that learning is most effective when all the senses are involved in the learning process. The accelerated learning techique uses activities that are presented in an engaging, fun but challenging way.
The first year of school should be fun. In fact all learning at every level should be fun. . Any method of teaching that allows children to engage in physical and mental activities that connect the mind and body are effective. Allowing these high-energy ADHD children full involvement in their learning environment empowers them to achieve their full potential.
A school environment that is positive, stimulating, enriching and fun can change a day of rote reading, writing and arithmetic into a fabulous learning adventure. These stimulating and effective programs exist. They are thoroughly tested and being used in private school, corporate training center and in other countries. These technique have been researched by renowned child educators who continuously research learning methodologies for children.
Not only will high-energy or ADHD children benefit from these fun learning systems, but all children will learn more information easier in a shorter span of time. Using accelerated learning programs insure that all children have a school day that includes positive reinforcements.

Accelerated learning techniques enhance the ability of the child to learn to think clearly. It helps children cope with change. Change becomes fun. Some proponents of the technology claim that children who learn this way have an increase in their IQ. There may be some basis to this fact since accelerated learning exercises and engages the brain in a unique way.
