Can a New Alpha Follow a Dead Omega?

Change and Rebirth Requires Action: Our Own

David A. Reinstein, LCSW

Breathing flowers gasp
For the elements of life
As they diminish.

Hopeful people pray
That the damage will soon cease;
Others will fix it.

Dead flowers drape graves
Marked by head stones proudly carved,
"Mankind was once here."

The Phoenix may rise
From the ashes in real life,
But not all the time.

When we realize
No one will birth it for us;
Hope can be reborn.

    Hope can and is reborn. It's up to us, we are both the phoenix and the ashes. Another exquisitely done poem!
