A poem of passion.
The only real thing we lack
To get that very special feeling back
That's been robbing us of heartfelt joy
Available to every man, woman, girl, or boy
Is not another drink, or drugs
Or joining up with gangland thugs
Not another tawdry affair
Thinking no one would notice, or even care
But the passion that's missing
From adulterous kissing
And when you can't get high enough
Pursuing all the wrong stuff
And when your success
Seems more like a test
Unable to enjoy
So many toys
There's only one thing missing
Turning life into blessings
And that's an active pursuit of God
Who fills our hearts up, with lots of love!
