Can Apple Pull Going Green?

Apple is Trying to Go Green for the World

T.M
Apple has finally made plans to go green for planet earth. The plan is to sell products that are made with lighter material and eliminating dangerous chemicals from its products but could they really pull it off?

So apples new plan involves taking refurbished apples and new apples with a new type of material that will cut out some of the chemicals that harm the planet. But we all know anything that is good for the earth costs a lot more to produce and may intern cost more to the consumer. For example check out the I phone they claim will make life easer. Ya it may be less energy they carrying your lap top or using your PC. But wait until you get that phone bill that comes conveniently packaged in a nice box. Open it up and there sits your 400 or 500 dollar phone with each call documented along with Internet usage. So every bill cycle apple wastes paper just to get their money from you. And I don't mean one or to pages I'm thinking more along the lines of 50 or 60 pages. Now you have to ask yourself why so much. There are so many other ways to send that bill out such as email, Internet, even view your bill on your phone! I think if apple is going to do this they should automatically sign people up for one of these programs to save money. I do have to hand it to them though for selling refurbished products to the consumers. But if they want to get in good with the consumers and planet they should sell the products at the same prices as the original price stipulates. But knowing how the economy is they will jack up the prices for the green products. They do have this interesting program that if you trade in your ipod you get 10% of next ipod. My question towards Apple is will the 10% be good towards green products. And I am wondering when all apple products will be green. Apple claims that all of this will be in place by 2010 and will have more recycled product than DELL or HP. I guess we will just have to wait until that time to see how much apple has changed. I actually had the opportunity to talk to a person who works at Apple and he also claims that apple is in the process of changing to green products but it is taking a lot of time. I wonder what parts of the apple products will be recycled such as screens or MOBO's. I wish I could write a quick note to apple that they should send some old recycled Apples to schools that need computers or less fortunate countries.
