Can Chula Vista Make a Repeat Performance in the 2010 Little League World Series?

It may be absurd to think or believe that the Chula Vista Little League team of San Diego County can make a repeat performance in 2010. It took the Chula Vista Little League team 48 years to finally win another Little League Championship, and indeed fate may be starring down a team that has something to prove in 2010. Many parents and fans of the Chula Vista Little League team feel that they do have a chance to do something special in this year Little League World Series, make a repeat performance, something that only happens every once and awhile.

When the Chula Vista Little League squad defeated Chinese Taipei 6-3 in 2009, and scoring 61 runs in six games would prove that the beginning of something great was bound to happen. The Chula Vista squad would go on to rack up 19 home runs during the tournament - which is a new record, but now the lingering question that looms over the head of the 2010 squad is can they do it again?

The Chula Vista hoopla and fanfare is now a thing of the past as now the team prepares to battle some very skilled opponents. The prediction is that the Chula Vista squad will get off to a slow start, but will gain momentum as the days go by, there will be some surprising on base hits that will lead the team to appear in the final round of the Little League World Series.

Pros and Cons: The Chula Vista's Park View Little League team will load the bases by having three consecutive home runs which will place them in the final round of their division. Their power hitting and outfield saves will contribute to the team appearing in their second consecutive title run. Without a doubt their hitting talent will give the Chula Vista team the confidence to score off of a few wild pitches that will be in their favor.

If the Chula Vista Little League teams do not make many errors - they will have the possibility on scoring 17 to 19 home runs in the final round of the tournament to become world champions once again.

My prediction is that the Chula Vista Little League team from San Diego County final score will be 5-4 as it will be a season that will be a magical one that will be remembered for many years to come.
