Can You Be a Creative Blogger?

Questions to Answer

Jacob Malewitz
Test 1: What do You Write?

You must write something, so pick up the pen and write down exactly what you write. Even if it's an email ... a short story you never plan on submitting ... a poem you scribbled on a napkin ... an essay you wrote with no intention of publishing. What do you write? Then ask yourself, what do you want to write?

Test 2: What do you want to Write?

Consider this even more important than test 1, but also consider it a creative way to make money blogging. You can blog on any topic, but often you must be patient, willing to work on failures, willing to stay up late at night editing, willing to write with abandon. But you must want it too.

Test 3: Do you have a business background?

This isn't a required test of creative blogging, but it does coincide with making money online. After all, the final test is whether you can make blogging a career. Now, you can be a big shot sports blogger, a wealthy business blogger, a hobby blogger ... but you need some kind of business sense to make money online blogging.

Test 4: Do You Know Keywords?

A keyword is your path to blogging cash, and keywords used creatively can make this a career. That's really the point: a creative home business which grows.

Test 5: Do You Like the idea of entrepreneurial blogging?

Blogging is somewhat of an entrepreneurial effort. If you have any kind of business background, or read anything, or have ever looked at a picture of Bill Gates, you know that business stars and millionaires have a different "air" to them. They make money doing things others do, but constantly doing them. They look failure in the eye and ... You get the point.

Finale:

Creative blogging is about all these things and more. There was a time when all my income came from blogging, and currently blogging is one of my prime writing endeavors. That doesn't make it easy. You can be a blogger, surely, but can you be a creative blogger? Let me know.
