Green tea classification is ussually based on the methods used to proccess and produced the teas. Not many people know the different types of green tea available that's why when someone mention green tea they expected green tea. Maybe in a sushi restaurant you asked for green tea is Sencha or Konacha. Or in a Chinese restaurants they ussually serve Jasmine Green Tea. Below the table shows some of the green tea types. Start drinking from normal green tea to more expensive green tea. From there you can judge why there's a price differences between each type of tea.
