Can Kate Middleton Fill the Shoes of Princess Diana?

Who can forget our precious Princess Diana? Though Princess Diana earned her way right out of the Royal Family, she slid right into the hearts of many people around the world. Even so, Princess Diana seemed to always have some type of trouble swirling around her, so what was really so special about Princess Diana, anyway?

Princess Diana certainly had a sparkle about her? Does Kate Middleton have such a sparkle? These photos here fail to show such a sparkle in Kate Middleton. Princess Diana exuded a sense of fashion, but it was likely the fashion that her personal stylist chose for her. Even so, she carried the fashion well. These pictures show Kate Middleton in similar fashion, but she doesn't quite pull off the fashion as well as Princess Diana.

Is Kate Middleton even trying to fill the shoes of Princess Diana? Maybe and maybe not, but the bigger question is whether or not onlookers expect such a feat from Kate Middleton? It remains clear that the current wife of Prince Charles, Camilla Parker Bowles, cannot fill the shoes of Princess Diana, so does this leave onlookers with hope that Kate Middleton will? Will Kate Middleton get that chance?

Is such a hope fair to Kate Middleton? Kate Middleton has certainly captured the heart of Prince William, but has she captured the hearts of onlookers? Is she even trying? Yes, we do see her in the news from time to time, but she seems to stay in the background, much unlike Princess Diana. Besides lacking the same outward sparkle, Kate Middleton seems to also lack the ability to draw attention to herself.

This may be a good thing, though, because Kate Middleton would surely not please the Royal Family if she took up Princess Diana's antics, and this could hurt her chances of marriage to the Future King of England, right? Will Kate Middleton change, though, if she does end up married to Prince William? Can we expect to see more of Kate Middleton if she becomes Princess Kate, or will she stay in the background much like she does now?

Will Kate Middleton still seem withdrawn if she becomes Princess Kate? Will onlookers love her as much as they loved Princess Diana? Will Kate have the same troubles with the Royal Family that Princess Diana (and Sarah Ferguson, for that matter) had? All these questions will eventually earn answers if a marriage does occur between Kate Middleton and Prince William, but will a marriage ever occur?
