Money only complicates things and makes life harder. With a lot of money comes people who are going to be jealous and envious. This means that people are going to befriend you just to try and get at your money, and nobody needs that in their lives. Many people who are rich are also spoiled and pampered and hire people to do everything for them. These people don't know the true happiness that comes from doing things for yourself and being independent. Having money may be fin at exciting at first, but after a while it's just going to be old news. Having lots of money chances a person, and those changes usually aren't for the better.
As the saying goes, money is the root of all evil, and evil people are always unhappy about something.
People who love money are never satisfied with material things since they always want more. They're always in competition with other people who have money too. Having lots of money can make you selfish and greedy. People who have money to live comfortably know the value and pleasure of the simple things in life. They know what it's like to selflessly give to others. Money being associated with happiness is truly an Americanized thing. Someone can love you for your money, but they may never love you for you. In other countries, money is nothing more than a mere object. Money is just a material thing that can not get rid your of problems or worries. True happiness and love are free since they are heartfelt.
