Can You Really Make Money on Associated Content?

Associated Content Claims You Can Make Money Online, Here is the Truth

Tara Lynn Gansrich
I remember when I first stumbled upon Associated Content, it was on Yahoo.com in their "Answers" section. Basically, you can ask any question, and you get multiple answers to whatever you had asked - while you can also browse questions that have already been asked and answered. I think I was on the "How To Make Money at Home" question, while browsing the internet at my well-hated job. Then, there it was. The light had shined down above me, with the words "AssociatedContent.com" before my money hungry eyes.

I really just wanted to make a couple quick bucks, some gas money maybe, even if it was doing those stupid surveys online. I just wanted to find something legit. Isn't that what everyone wants, a legit way to make money online? Before I got start with Associated Content, I did my research. I checked to see if it was legit, I checked to see if I could actually make real money, I checked to see if this making money scheme was worth my while. I had to write an article to see if this making money by writing articles was true. And so I began..

It was May 30, 2008. I had read that writing about something you are passionate about or something you are very knowledgeable in is the best to write about, and I strongly believe in that. I hate writing about something I have to research, or something I'm mainly not interested in. I love, love, LOVE writing about what I know, or what I love! Making money online? I love the idea, hence this article for you to read! My first article was a review, my style, on a restaurant in Philadelphia I used to work at. I could have wrote that article with my eyes closed, because I had so much to say about it, not just because I worked there, but my waitressing experience of over 6 years helped tremendously when it came to describing the food and service ratings. I will frame this article one day, because it was my first article ever published on the web, try it - do a Google search with my full name, see how many articles of mine come up under one search. How good does that make me feel? Not good at all, it makes me feel great. To be able to tell a friend to Google my name, ah.. priceless. If that wasn't rewarding enough, the payment came next..

$4.31. That how much money Associated Content offered me. Pleased? Yes. Excited? Yes. Wondering why the heck someone was paying me for something that took me 10 minutes to write, and something I actually didn't mind writing? Definitely. I was so happy, I just kept writing. Keep in mind now, I do have a full time job, a one year old, and well - a life. So, writing on the computer is a bigger task for me than most people who can jump on the internet any time of the day or week to write, so Associated Content is just a supplemental income for me at this time. To date, I have acquired $144.73 to the penny in writing money. It goes straight into my PayPal account as soon as I accept Associated Content's offer, and then it is all mine to spend.

You really don't have to love writing to earn a few bucks, you just need a passion for something - and to be able to tell the world about it. 400 words or less is cake if you're an avid internet user, and to make extra money is the incentive itself, and drive to write! Associated Content is quite an addiction for me. When I'm running short on cash, or heck - gas money these days, I hope on Associated Content, do a little writing, and watch the money roll in. It's fun, it's exciting, and it's real. Now get writing!

It's funny because I agree with Chakayla. No one ever really tells you how to get started writing. They just assume that you know everything and write like they do. Thanks!

Congratulations on your success! I'm new and haven't quite figured out how to get offered more than a couple of dollars, but I'm excited about the few that I have earned so far.
