People have used psychic shielding for a variety of uses for centuries. Is it possible to keep biting and stinging insects away from your body using these same techniques?

I have a friend who never seems to be bothered by mosquitoes or other insects, no matter matter how many of them are around at the time. One night while I was being nearly devoured by the nasty little parasites, I asked his what his secret was. I wasn't really expecting an answer, but he gave me one., He said that he used a psychic shielding technique to keep the insects from bothering him.

I have been using psychic shielding to keep people's negative energy from affecting me and to keep my energy from affecting others, and I have been doing it for many years. It never even occurred to me that these techniques might be useful for other purposes. When I thought about it a bit more, I realized that I have repelled people with psychic shielding methods, so logically speaking, it ought to be much easier to repel something as small as wasps and mosquitoes.

My favorite technique for shielding is to envision a bubble surrounding my body. You may have seen the recent deodorant commercials with the woman in a bubble; it's just like that. For me, it has always been the most effective visualization, although I know people who have success with other imagery. It seemed perfect for repelling insects; what could be better than having an impenetrable bug bubble?

I decided to give it a shot, and at first had little success. I would envision my bubble and think "The bugs can't hurt me. The bugs don't want to be near me". Well, the bugs proved me wrong. Mosquitoes and other insects kept biting me, and bees and wasps kept buzzing uncomfortably close to me. (Which was scary, since I'm allergic.) I thought about it, and came to the conclusion that saying they couldn't hurt me was like a challenge, and therefore not effective. I had to come up with something else.

I changed my approach and began thinking "The bugs won't harm me. I do not warrant their attention". Sure enough, the change in thought started to work. As I imagined my bubble and kept these thoughts in the back of my mind, I noticed that I seemed to be repelling insects with the power of my mind. I have been using the technique for some time now, and it seems the only time insects of any kind bother me is if I'm not thinking about my shield.

So, can you repel insects with the power of your mind? I would have to say yes. Now, some people may not believe in such abilities, thinking they are too much like strange superpowers. However, people are capable of amazing things, and one should never discount any possibilities. Perhaps it's not so much of a mysterious mind power, maybe the effect is achieved by a change in our body chemistry initiated by our thought processes. Whether you look at it from a spiritual or scientific standpoint, the fact is that people can make it work.

I suggest that you try this technique for yourself and see how effective it is. I do know that you must truly believe that it will work, or it won't. This holds true for many things, whether spiritual or mundane. Try repelling insects with the power of your mind. You never know, it may open the door to a whole new world of abilities for you.
