Royal Oak, MI 48067
United States of America
Signature Drive
First off, a petition drive could possibly put the issue to a vote in an election. With the fact that the November elections are just weeks away (as of the writing of this post) there would not be enough time to put the issue of medical marijuana on this ballot, but possibly a future one.
Supporters of Medical Marijuana Could Run for Office
Next, potential candidates can run for office for the Royal Oak City Council the next time elections come up. With the number of supporters of the use of medical marijuana in Royal Oak, chances are good that these candidates could have a decent base constituency.
State Supreme Court
Finally, a motion could be taken to the State Supreme Court questioning the right of the Royal Oak City Council to pass a moratorium on a type of medicinal product. This, of course, would be the most costly, and could cost the most money.
