Can There Be Too Much Sex?

Ask an average male that question and the answer will be an emphatic no. However, like most aspects of life, too much of a good thing can be dangerous to one's health.

Michelle Thompson, a 43 year old single mother in England has a condition known in medical parlance as Persistent Sexual Arousal Syndrome. What this means, in effect, is that Michelle craves sex the way a drug addict must have heroin. She can climax anytime anywhere. She has been known to have as many as 300 orgasms a day. You'd think she would have a string of eager, panting men lining up outside her door; and you'd be partly right. A number of suitors were initially attracted by the thought of unlimited sex, but few lasted more than a few days. Sex, after all, is exhausting work.

Happily, Michelle has now found a partner who can keep up with her and, serendipitously, he lives right next door. 32 year old Andrew Carr is as eager as she is and they make love 10 times a day. Michelle is no longer looking for a medical remedy for her condition. She believes Andrew is the cure. I can't help wondering, though, if Andrew deserves to be felicitated or pitied.
