Some songs that appear on our TV sets, especially those that indicate thug life and gangster related scenes, always have an impact on our society. You may even find young kids especially teenagers forming their own groups that would make them recognized by people in the society.Kids think that its "cool" to do such things and definitely these would affect their social life.
Vulgarer words always are associated the these action movies or songs. While the owners are out there to make money, they have no idea of the harm they are impacting on our children and the society at large, and when asked to comment on these, they would always say that every one has the right to do what they like most, and that you only watch what you like and should simply switch of when something uncomfortable appears on television.
If you are a grown up you can do that with alot of ease, what of that young kid who knows that TVs are to be watched no matter whats on it?Therefor the media has a role to play in educating the public on what to view and what not to.
Since we cannot control what the media has to do,the as parents, we have an obligation on what our kids should watch. But wait a minute ,what about when parents are busy at work, who controls on what the kid views on the TV?These is one role that the government of any country should take and start playing.
