Can we meet again?
You will find me at the rainbows end
Can you stay a littler longer
For the angels won't tell and the stars can keep a secret
I retrace the exact moments in my mind
To try to find the conception of you
The colors fade sometimes
Even though my heart never looses it's grip
The feelings fade sometimes
Even though I stand firmly, still waiting
I refresh the brilliance in my spirit every now and then
And suddenly everything is bright again
Even the rainbow extends a little further
So can we meet again?
You will find me at the rainbows end
You will find me at the rainbows end
Can you stay a littler longer
For the angels won't tell and the stars can keep a secret
I retrace the exact moments in my mind
To try to find the conception of you
The colors fade sometimes
Even though my heart never looses it's grip
The feelings fade sometimes
Even though I stand firmly, still waiting
I refresh the brilliance in my spirit every now and then
And suddenly everything is bright again
Even the rainbow extends a little further
So can we meet again?
You will find me at the rainbows end

A sad but lovely poem. Let us hope you will meet again. thank you for your comments on "The Current". Ken
Very heartwarming. It made me think of someone I would like to meet again. Keep up the good work.
This was beautiful, and swelled my eyes. It reminded me of my grandmother who passed away 10 years ago on Christmas. She used to tell me that when she died, she's meet me on a rainbow. It was as if you captured my very memory of her.
Wow... powerful, very powerful.
Old song lyric came to mind: meeting 'round the bend. That was about moons & rivers, but the end of the rainbow evokes that same kind of warm fuzzy feeling.
OK!!! OK!!! I have a new official 2nd Favorite piece: It's this one. This one is enriched in the figurative literary sense that I have come to love about your writing. Muy Bueno!!
