Canary Islands: Club La Santa at Lanzarote Island

If you are planning a trip to the Canary Isles, than the island of Lanzarote featuring Club La Santa is where you'll want to be. Club La Santa is a health spa and resort that is fun for families or individuals. There are numerous activities to do outside like snorkeling as there is to do inside like general fitness. This is the place to come and relax both phycially and mentally, but also to enjoy the great isles.

The weather on the island is like that of most islands. The days stay around mid 80's all year, except in February where a cooling low 70's chills the island. The weather during the day is fairly sunny with bright blue skies and crystal clear blue water. Who wouldn't want to enjoy this type of weather? On Canary Island is Club La Santa which features the some of the nicest amenities around. You'll have choice amongst restaurants, bars, sports shops, clothing stores, supermarkets, and plenty more. This island will feature something for everyone. There are no age specifications at this health club, so even children are allowed. Some of the activities that the kids can enjoy will be swimming, biking, and snorkeling.

Begin your day by dropping off the kids at the swimming pool in the hotel. This Olympic size swimming pool will teach kids how to swim or coach them through team races. Life guards and swimming instructors will keep the kids safe. After the kids are down playing around in the pool, it'll be time to teach them how to snorkel. The swimming coaches will provide masks and snorkels and throw fake creatures into the bottom of the pool to feel like their actually in the ocean. They'll be taught the basic fundamentals of snorkeling and then be able to explore the entire pool. This should be an adventure that any kid would love.

After you've dropped off the kids, head down to the fitness facilities to begin being trained like a pro. Club La Santa is home to training the athletes of the Lanzarote Ironman competition. If you're a serious runner, organized groups of runners run various distances in the morning and evening. If you decide not to run, a brisk morning walk also takes place along side the morning the runners. If you prefer to cycle, cycling classes will instruct you how to ride correctly and then take you for a cycling tour around the island through different routes and distances. Club La Santa is not only home to the Lanzarote Ironman competition, but the club also trains the top European cyclists for their season.

Besides having the best fitness instructors and equipment to get you into shape, the clubs spa also will help you restore your energy by offering you steam rooms, hydrotherapy, saunas and plenty more. This club will help you relax your body and mind, but also get you into shape.
