Canceled 2009 Fall Television Shows

It is time again for the TV networks to decide on what shows will continue on and what ones will get the ax. If you are like me, it always seems they chose the shows that I like and keep the ones I hate! Just when I get totally involved with the show, that is when they decided to either keep moving it so I can never find when it is on; or cancel it. I feel that if they would quit moving shows all over the place maybe there would be no need to cancel it.

Here is the sad list of shows that ended up on the chopping block.

On ABC, the remake of the 1998 series Cupid was eliminated from their line up right away. This how was about a Cupid who had to arrange 100 happily ever after relationships before he could return home. It looks like he was sent home before he got his assignment done. ABC also decided to cancel Dirty Sexy Money, In The Motherhood and The Unusuals. What really surprised me was the cancellation of Pushing Up Daises and Samantha Who. Both of these shows seemed to be popular and even Emmys this year. I enjoyed both of these shows; maybe that is why they were canceled.

CBS has decided to cancel Eleventh hour, this show was about a team of scientists who went around trying to solve strange crimes that involved the paranormal. Harpers Island, a mystery show went bye bye along with crime shows The Unit, With Out a Trace and the comedy show Worst Week.

Fox decided to foreclose on the action show Doll House. The comedy King of the Hill and Sit Down and Shut up was taken off the line up. Terminator: the Sarah Connor Chronicles was canceled along with Prison Break.

On NBC the Kings was dethroned. The remake of the Knight Rider didn't get the ratings they were hoping for. The long time comedy My Name is Earl didn't make it this year along with Lipstick Jungle and Law and Order CI. Even with a great cast the comedy Kath and Kim ended up on the chopping block. Another surprise for the NBC none return list was Life on Mars.

On the CW there were some cancellation surprises. Everyone Hates Chris ended up cut. This was another fun show that should have been given another chance. The Reaper, The Game and Privileged also didn't survive the ratings war.

It will be interesting to see what other shows are going to be axed before January.
