Crying out!!
Another day
Not knowing when or where
Cancer will strike again.
Everyone feels the pain.
Reality does not play favorites.

Everyone feels the pain.

Underscore life's joyful pleasures,
Creating bittersweet memories.
Kissing, laughing, hugging, crying...on yet another

Post a CommentCoral I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. Real, yet touching approach you've taken here. You probably know that AC friends are dealing w/ cancer right now... Theresa Wiza has written amazingly honest (& sometimes funny!) journal-style articles as she fights breast cancer. And you probably know Maria Roth is inspiring us w/ stories & poems as they cope with their little Audrey's leukemia. I think this touches all our lives anymore. God bless your friend and your heart.
It is such a debilitating disease.
cancer kills, it doesn't choose what race you from, what status you are...
My family lost our father to cancer in 2007 on Christmas Day and we still miss him. Right after my father died, my Aunt died 1-2 months later of leukemia and my cousin who was not that old died after her with lung cancer.
I have a friend going through this right now with his father and aunt. My thoughts are with them.
Cancer has taken so many away from me. My brother in 2000. Cheers it does "suck".
I lost my Dad to cancer 4 years ago, and my cousin's husband is ill with it right now. Horrible isn't it. So many resources and yet we haven't yet found a cure.
Recently lost my mother-in-law to cancer.
My hubbies mom probably would have agreed. She died from cancer and I have had two grandmothers that have died from cancer. All three within the past four years. Breast cancer, panreal cancer, and lung cancer. Such a shame they were all very sweet and tough women.
Excellent work! Cancer does suck!
