Follow locals and eat at the same cafes. Downtown Cancun has two major markets that offer a large selection of food stalls and restaurants. Mercado 28 is the largest market with a variety of meal choices and cuisine styles. Breakfast at La Pasteleria - La Creperia. La Pasteleria is a quaint bakery specializing in tarts, while La Creperia is small café specializing crepes. Other good restaurant choices are; El Cejas, Tacos Rijos, and Fish Fritanga. All these offer a taste of Cancun at a budget price.
