Candace Cameron Bure: A Child Actress Accepts a New Role

Candace Cameron Bure is best known as Donna Joe "D.J" Tanner on the hit sitcom Full House. As a child, many hours were spent watching Candace Cameron Bure and the rest of the cast of Full House deal with life.

Candace Cameron Bure co-starred with comedians Bob Saget and Dave Coulier. Other co-stars included John Stamos, Jody Sweetin, and the uber-popular Olsen twins.

Candace Cameron Bure's character was the oldest of three sisters. Their father was a widow and his best friend and the girls' uncle came to help him raise the girls.

Although I loved the show as a child, Full House also got me through my first year of college.

Attending a small Christian university in rural Arkansas, our cable only showed "clean" channels. Lucky for me, one of the allowed channels showed Full House re-runs all the time.

So what ever happened to Candace Cameron Bure? According to MSN Careers, she married a Canadian Hockey star, had three kids, and has been a stay at home mom.

It sounds like Candace Cameron Bure is living the good life. She gets to enjoy her children - something so many mothers desire to do.

Although she's had some guest star roles in various made for TV movies, I would think she would want to come back to acting.

Although I probably won't tune in to Make it or Break it, it's good to know that Candace Cameron Bure is stepping back out in to the spotlight. She was well-loved as DJ Tanner, so it's likely she will be well loved in her current role as well.
