She still couldn't shake the previous night's dream.

Once Candace got ready, Candace and Sophia went to the pavilion to get their breakfast.

"Sophia, I had the strangest dream."

"What was your dream about?" Sofia bit into her sausage biscuit.

"Sophie, it was so weird. You remember the campfire story that they told us about, Phantom Island?" Candace sipped through her straw.

"Yeah," Sophia nodded her head.

"Well, it seems like Princess Estella was calling for me through my dream. She says that that her soul is trapped on the island and that I am the only one who can save her."

"Wow that is so neat. Why can't these things happen to me?" Sophia adjusted her glasses...

Candace and Sophia left the pavilion and headed back to their log cabin...

All of the teens that were in their age group finally arrived. The senior counselors did roll call.

Storm clouds were moving in and it started thundering and lightening. Then it started drizzling rain.

Candace stayed a little bit longer to see if she could see Phantom Island. Sure enough she could see it with her naked eyes. It was misty and in the distance she could make out the sails to the old sea vessel. On the ship it read "The Venus Sun". The ship looked transparent and as it sailed alongside the island's shore line.

Candace felt like she was in a daze. She felt like ship was calling her. Candace could the hear cries of the ghosts. She began to lean closer to the edge of a cliff which was a drop off. Clark saw Candace and ran when he saw that she was getting too close to the edge. She tripped over a rock on the ground and was awaken from her trance. She started screaming.

"Candace!" Clark ran and caught her and pulled Candace away from edge of the cliff and he pulled her up to safety. He looked off into to the distance and noticed the sail ship. His eyes widen when he saw that it read the Venus Sun.

Candace turned and hugged Clark and he held her securely in his arms.

Candace felt so safe and secure in his warm embrace.

"Did you see the ghost ship?"

Sophia heard all of the commotion and went to see what was going on.

"What were you thinking?" Sophia had a concerned look on her face.

"It seemed like the Venus Sun was calling me I know that it sounds strange but it was." Candace crossed her arms and felt a chill from the gentle rain. She rubbed her arm in on effort to try to keep warm.

"Let's get out of here. We are falling behind. The group is already gone. We need to catch up. It is about to poor down raining." Clark pulled out some plastic rain coats for all of them to put on.

It continued to thunder and lighting.

"Candace." Candace turned around again when she heard a strange whisper in wind. She turned around and paused for a second. She looked around but no was there. The bushes shook and it seemed like someone was running away and had bushed by them. Candace thought that she saw a shape of a green glowing transparent figure that was shaped like a human. She had a hard time making out the details. She could have sworn that she saw a pirate. She rubbed eyes and it disappeared. A chill ran through Candace's spine. She felt like someone was watching her.

"What wrong, Candace." Sophia saw the frightened and puzzled expression written all over her face.

"Let's hurry up and get to base camp." Clark gave her a plastic rain coat. He gently swept a strain of brown hair from her eyes. They both stared into each other's eyes as the rain lightens up for a moment.

"I thought I heard someone calling my name." Candace looked at Sophia and Clark. She looked around at the trees but no one was there.

"All right guys, we must get back. It is starting to rain harder." They all rushed back to camp.

As they left, a ghost appeared. It was Captain Mark Battle. The storm enabled him to manifest himself. He had an evil and sinister look on his face as he watched the teens run to try to catch up with their group. In the background, the ship's crew began to fade in behind him.

"Do you think it is her," asked a haggard looking pirate with rotten teeth.

"Yes, I do and we don't have much time." Captain rubbed his chin in agitation. He had a stern look on his face. The rain began to let up and the ghosts disappeared into the wind.
