Canon Powershot G10 Digital Camera - Product Review

Needfordigital.com finally had my Canon Powershot G10 digital camera on sale for $400. I had been waiting on this camera to go on sale for a long time. I bought it as soon as I seen the price. I received it in the mail about two weeks ago and I have been in love ever since. I was hoping that this digital camera was all that I wanted it to be and more. For the price I must admit that I wasn't disappointed whatsoever.

The Canon Powershot G10 digital Camera is one of a kind. Since I love taking pictures of my family, I was in need of a great camera that would give me all the right features. One of the things I love about this digital camera is that it's a 14.7 megapixel camera. I've never handled a camera which such high megapixels before. The most I've ever dealt with was a 10 megapixel and that shot great pictures. So I was excited to see what this Canon was going to do. My first round of pictures turned out amazing, there was clarity, no blur and every single picture that I took was crisp and clear. I'm used to having to enhance my digital pictures but I didn't have to edit any of the pictures that I took with the Canon Powershot.

Another thing I loved about the Canon Powershot was the auto focus. It was able to detect contrast and automatically adjust itself to it's surroundings. I didn't have to do anything extra, I didn't have to press any button to make this happen which made this digital camera all the better. It includes a self timer and it came with all of the needed software and connectors.

I'm used to carrying around cameras with a little weight to them so when I started carrying the Canon Powershot around, I would have to double check to make sure that I hadn't lost it. It's extremely light in weight;It's about 12 oz in weight and believe me when I say that is about as light as a feather.

The only real thing I can complain about when it comes to the Canon Powershot is the LCD screen. My husband tells me that I always find something wrong with my digital items. But honestly I don't think that they screen is as big as it should be. It's only about 3 inches in size and with my eyes, that isn't big enough for me to enjoy looking at my pictures. Of course who wants a big bulky LCD screen? That would mean that the camera it's self would have to be big.

The Canon Powershot G10 Digital camera would be a great stocking stuffer for this Christmas. It's some what on the expensive side but it is worth every single penny. Especially if you are looking for a camera with all the right features.
