Cant Stand Back

I must take charge

Can't stand back

This is my life

People can tend to slack

There is no time for that

I don't want them to have any control of my destiny

So I have a hard time just standing back

It effects more than just me

My family also ends up paying a penalty

For others simple mistakes

I just can't stand back

And let it be

It's our lives

Not theirs

Therefore they do not care

A simple overlook

Can make a big difference

I use to fail to realize that I can't control it all

It would put me in frenzy

To this day I still will not just stand back

Quick to catch all issues

Closing evaluating each document

Documenting each phone conversation

Every concern and decision is harshly concentrated on

Until I am for certain that all fine details are covered

Little tasks are easy failed to be conducted by some

I do realize that no one is perfect

Everyone makes mistakes

If a mistake arises and it must be fixed

If this effects me

Then I can't stand back

I try not to criticize

Rather I bring the issues into discussion

However some live in denial

If I must, I will push farther

They may think that I am being pushy

It's not that indeed

I just know it affects me deeply

So I can't just stand back

I try to control as much as possible of my family's destiny

They rely on me as I must rely on myself

So I must do what I can to make things evenly

Credit is given to those for a task well done

As it is greatly noticed and appreciated

Since at those times

I didn't have to take over control

Not often do I have the chance to stand back

Unfortunately most times it is inevitable

And I just can't stand back
