A must-go for daters young and old, Cappetto's warm and moonlighting aura provide a sense of romance and intimacy that's lacking in many national chains. Illusions of Disney classic "Lady and the Tramp" come to mind, with Italy's colors of red, green and white donning the interior. Courted off areas allow for smaller spaces and more privacy allowing for intimacy and romance.
Heaping mounds of sumptuous Fettucini with Marinated Chicken and Pesto Cream Sauce is a favorite that must be tasted. Beaming with vibrant green Pesto Cream Sauce, the layers of Fettucini and Chicken are enough for two people. The taste is out of sight and original while holding true to Italian ideals of filling and creamy tastes. Unique to Cappetto's is a widely acclaimed dish, the Chicken Jerusalem, an 8 ounce breast of chicken smothered in a light cream sauce and topped with generous amounts of artichoke hearts and mushrooms.
Another dish to be tried is the Veal Parmigiana which is tenderized, breaded and fried, then topped with fresh mozzarella cheese and a thick flavorful meat sauce. Cappetto's offers a variety of Veal dishes in unique ways.
If avoiding meat all together, try the Eggplant Parmigian, thick servings of breaded Eggplant that are the size of tree trunks, but infinitely more tasty. Again, portions are large enough to share, and certainly provide room for left-overs to be enjoyed the next day.
Cappetto's Italian Restaurant also offers a variety of select wines, a fantastic salad to start and wide array of creative and delicate desserts. Great starters for appetizers include: Shrimp Adriatica, Bruschetta Formaggio, Carciofe Parmesano and Fried Calimari. Consider enjoying coffee and an ice cream layered Spimoni or Italian classics such as Cannolis or a devilish Tirami-Su.
Other offerings Cappetto's provides are WiFi access to the internet in the restaurant and on the patio. They are proud to boast a number of daily features which vary with seasonal ingredients, as well as lunch specials daily.
Cappetto's can be found on 2716 Montana or their newest eastside location on Trawood. One must try this El Paso mainstay at least once, they're confident they'll convert you for life to El Paso's own Italian restaurant, a slice of Italy, deep in the heart of the Southwest.
