Car Seat Not a Clue in Missing Boy Case

Setting the Record Straight

The search for a missing Aurora boy is still troubling officials, but it continues with updated information.
After spending a couple days in the Sterling, Rock Falls and Dixon areas in Illinois, police still have not found much concrete evidence. In fact, they wanted to clear up a few matters as well. In a statement released today (May 21), it was noted that the car seat, which was being tapped as a possible clue, was not in the car. They said it was left at the house of the boy's grandmother.
Also, the correct way to spell his name is with two Ms, as in Timmothy Pitzen. No word on the Spider-Man backpack, which was also said to be an earlier clue.
In the e-mail sent by Aurora, Il., police, indicate they are "increasingly concerned" as the days go by.
Anyone with information are asked to call Aurora police at 630-256-550 or 9-1-1. Once again, he is 4 feet 2 and about 70 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. His mother, Amy Fry-Pitzen, who took her own life, was memorialized today. In her suicide note, she said he was in the care of someone, who was not named.
The search came to the Sterling, Rock Falls and Dixon areas where fliers were distributed. Search teams combed the many wooded areas and parks in an effort to find any clues. They even searched along the Rock River, which flows through the towns.

I would just like to mention that I have been working on a timeline for this little boy and I have a question. How did his mother get from the Kalahari Resort in the Dells at 10:10 to Racine and shop to be able to check out with her credit card at 11:15. She would have only had 1hr and 5 mins to accomplish the drive and the shopping. Could her card have been stolen? Or used by a friend to deter?
