When I got there, it was actually closed, which was my own fault, because I neglected to check out their hours. They're only open certain days out of the week and close at about 12:00 p.m.
If I would have known that they take donations other than clothing, I would have filled up my car with all kinds of stuff. It wasn't until I got there that I found out that they take donations of food and even stuff like shampoo and soap. The staff is unbelievably gracious and nice. They don't rush you out the door, and they even take time to talk about the organization and explain what they're all about.
I also didn't realize how many people they help either, because one Saturday morning, when I was driving past, there was a long line of people waiting to get in. Also, when I was there dropping off my donations, I noticed how non-judgemental and kind the staff was to people who came in seeking donations. This really made me want to be a volunteer there, myself.
