Licensed Community Association Management
- Description: Manage associations: neighborhood, homeowner, condominium, mobile home, timeshare, vacation ownership.
- Need: Community Association Management License (LCAM). Check your state for variations.

- Bio: Usual day depends on how large your property is and how many properties you are managing. Some CAMs manage 10 plus properties. Unless your property is under development, you will more than likely answer to the Home Owner's Association's Board of Directors. It is your responsibility to oversee and inform the board of any violations of the Rules, Regulations, Restrictions, Covenants, and Florida State Statutes. Your responsibilities could include: hiring vendors for pool maintenance, tennis courts, playgrounds, parking lots, landscaping and sprinkler system maintenance, budgets, billing, maintenance fees, accounts receivable and payable, keep abreast of Florida State Codes and Statutes covenants, rules, regulations, regulations, and attend community meetings.
You may decide to set up your own company, lots of work but many rewards.
Community Association Management is not the same as property management. Property maintenance is important to both. Association management is based on Florida Statutes, and operates under the
Department of Business and Professional Regulation.
- Description: Property representative for buyer or seller or sometimes both: residential, commercial, agricultural.

The most important rule in real estate is your fiduciary responsibility for your client/s. You must register with a broker. Learn as much as you can as quickly as you can; know lenders, mortgage companies, advertising, com parables, know your area and know others working your area, , schools and schedules, bus stops, playgrounds, swimming pools, dance studios, clubs, kids programs. My advice is to know as much as you possibly can about your area. If necessary, print and take information list with you everywhere.
